WORKING THE WORD 3
“So shall my word be, which shall go forth from my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please, and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 (Douay-Rheims Bible)
The impact of the Word of God in your life requires these three (3) key items:
1. Trust the the Word

To trust the Word is to see and receive the Word with meekness.
“… receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.” James 1:21 (ESV)
How do you see the Word of God?
Do you have confidence in the Word of God?
Do you believe beyond every doubt that the Word of God is true?
Can you stake your life on the Word?
2. Conceive and Cultivate The Word

“How I love to do your will, my God! I keep your teaching in my heart” Psalm 40:8 (GNT)
The Environment you create for the Word is your heart.
The Word is a seed (Luke 8:11) and must be cultivated in the right environment.
To cultivate the Word is to allow the Word to work in your heart.
3. Act the Word (James 1:22)

Until you work out the Word of God, which has been worked into you, it will not manifest.
However, the most crucial part is to allow the Word to work in you.
When the Word of God grows in your heart, it will definitely influence your action.
This then makes it necessary for us to look into the Cultivation of the Word. The decision or conviction to cultivate the Word in your heart is the evidence that you trust it.
Until you trust the Word or have the right picture of the Word, you will not invest proper efforts to cultivate it.
Why is it then necessary to cultivate the Word?
This is because the WORD IS A SEED.
Yes, I have to repeat it till you understand it.
The word “SEED” is mostly translated from the Greek word, “SPERMA”, this is also the root for the English word, SPERM.
Consistent miraculous life doesn’t just happen. People don’t just have results. Results are born!
You may pray and be expecting a miracle, but until the Word is conceived and cultivated, you may get disappointed and feel frustrated.
Every seed has the potential to become a forest. However, you have to conceptualize it.
It has to go through incubation in your heart.
Just so you know, the heart mentioned here doesn’t refer to your physical organ which pumps blood through the circulatory system by rhythmic contraction and dilation.
The heart discussed here comprises; your mind, will, emotions and spiritual consciousness. It is the core of your being.

Every word of God sent to you is to produce a result or achieve a purpose in your life. However, you have to conceptualize it in your heart.

The word of God is powerful, yet it doesn’t work automatically. Miracles or results of the Word don’t just happen as the explosion of a dynamite.
When people find themselves in challenges, they expect sudden miracles and find it difficult to receive the Word. They see the Word to be lifeless and powerless. They assume the word cannot solve or it’s not enough to solve their problems.
That is how a seed is, when you look at a seed, it may seem tiny, lifeless and powerless. Nevertheless, every seed contains LIFE and the ABILITY TO MULTIPLY.
To prove that a seed has power and life, you have to plant it.
Until you plant the word of God in your heart it will seem to be lifeless and powerless.
Look away from your challenges. Receive the engrafted word of God into your heart. Allow the revelation of the Word to be planted in your heart.
Your heart is like the womb of a woman. If a lady wants to get pregnant and give birth to a baby, she must get the male sperm into her womb.
Until the sperm or seed (the Word) gets into your womb (heart), it will not bear much fruit.

We pray that the right seed of the word to birth a specific miracle will be conceived in our hearts.

– I always have the right posture of meekness in receiving the Word of God.

– I have great confidence in the Word of God.

– I allow the Word to work in my heart.

– The Word of God has power over me.

– I am a doer of the word.

– I invest the Word of God into my heart daily and diligently.

WORKING THE WORD 2
“So shall my word be, which shall go forth from my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please, and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it.”

Beloved, the Word of God does not fail. Whatever God teaches through His Word is TRUTH.
The Word carries the potency of results and answers.
Someone may ask, “But why is the word not working for me?”
The Word works, however, the working ability of the Word is expressed through those who trust it and act it out.
The electrical power in your home works, but it wouldn’t automatically power your gadgets without connectivity.
Until you switch the power on, you won’t enjoy the effect of its power.
To see the working ability of the Word, you must have it activated.
You have to take the promises, the instructions and the revelation of the Word of God as life.
The Word of God is as a seed (Luke 8:11).
Every seed has the potential to become a forest.
It needs the right environment to germinate, grow and bear much fruit.
Your heart is the environment for the planting and germination of the Word.
Anything that will manifest in your life must first germinate in your heart.
“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” Proverbs 4:23 (NLT)
Until the blessing of God’s Word saturates your heart, you will not see its manifestation in your life.
This is why the condition of your heart is a crucial matter in the manifestation of the Word of God.
“And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.” Luke 8:15 (NLT)
The Word of God will definitely produce the results, just train your heart to cling to the Word and patiently engage the Word to produce a great harvest.

We pray that our hearts shall intentionally cling to the Word of God and engage it with patience.

WORKING THE WORD 1
“So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man] who built his house on the rock”
Matthew 7:24 (Amplified)
The Word of God is God’s constitution of wisdom and His creative material.
You will find in the scriptures that, God founded and made the universe by His wisdom (Proverbs 3:19; Psalm 104:24). And you will find in other places in the scriptures that by the Word of God He formed the universe (Hebrews 11:3).
Now this is not a contradiction at all.
(Remember there is no contradiction in the entire Bible, if a concept seems contradictory, just make time to search through the scriptures patiently. You will find understanding and proper interpretation).
The Wisdom of God is embodied by the articulation of God. God’s Word is the expression of His thought or the articulation of His intent.
Thus, the Word of God is the expression or articulation of the Wisdom of God.
There is nothing God has built without His word.
To know the Word of God is to handle Wisdom.
Everything works by the Word of God.
When one thinks the Word doesn’t work, such a person has not trained himself to be a practitioner of the Word.
When you hear the Word, you must put it to work. The word by itself doesn’t work. The word works on a receptive heart which focuses on acting it.
You must have this understanding, THE WORD OF GOD WORKS!
And that is how God sees His word.
“And as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and return no more thither, but soak the earth, and water it, and make it to spring, and give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be, which shall go forth from my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please, and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 (Douay-Rheims Bible)
Any word which proceeds from God has a purpose designed for it. It also has the in-built ability to achieve its destined intent.
When you decide to act it out, it will bring you the results.
The Word of God does not fail.
Though this analogy is limited, it should help you grasp this Wisdom:
Imagine you were stranded in a place and suddenly your good friend parks his car by you, and tells you “Get in, I had a call to pick you up to your destination”.
Will you still be standing there hoping to arrive at your destination?
I don’t think so.
You have to trust your friend, and then get into his car before you will arrive at your destination.
That is how the word works.
No matter the ability of the Word, it will need your decision to respond rightly to it before you will experience the expected results.
You must trust the Word, enough to do what it says.
Don’t assume it doesn’t work.
The results of the Word will manifest when you act it!

We pray that we shall develop confidence in the power of the Word and walk in the established assurance that it does not fail.

– I am a practitioner of the Word of God.

– I have confidence in the power of the Word

BEHOLD THE REALITY OF JESUS 3 – DEALING WITH DECEPTION 10
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12 (NKJV)
Jesus came to bring you into full salvation.
If you are born again already, you don’t need to think of how you will get saved again. For you are already saved.
However, don’t believe any doctrine which teaches or even mentions other options for salvation.
Salvation is only in Jesus!
This must settle in your heart.
No religion promises or boasts of Salvation. Not to even mention Eternal Salvation.
Don’t be gullible; don’t accept any false doctrine of men and don’t fall for their godless imaginations.
Let’s look again at Paul’s concern for the Church in Corinth:
“I am anxious for you with the deep concern of God himself—anxious that your love should be for Christ alone, just as a pure maiden saves her love for one man only, for the one who will be her husband. But I am frightened, fearing that in some way you will be led away from your pure and simple devotion to our Lord, just as Eve was deceived by Satan in the Garden of Eden. You seem so gullible: you believe whatever anyone tells you even if he is preaching about another Jesus than the one we preach, or a different spirit than the Holy Spirit you received, or shows you a different way to be saved. You swallow it all.“ 2 Corinthians 11:2-4 (TLB)
Don’t swallow any doctrine which points to another Jesus and a different way to be saved.
After Peter and John were arrested for getting the lame healed, they were brought before the Jewish leaders. Peter gave one of the most beautiful responses to their questions:
“And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:9-12 (KJV).
Did you notice the audacity and conviction in the words of Peter?
This is more than a religious utterance. It is the declaration of the reality of Jesus. The matter of salvation is a matter of life.
It is only Christ Jesus you receive the impartation of the divine life.
Beloved in Christ let no one sway you off this truth. Walk in this glorious reality of Jesus: HE IS THE ONLY WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE!

We pray that many will behold Jesus as the only way they can receive and experience true salvation.

DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– My heart is established in the reality that Salvation is only in Jesus.

– I behold the reality of Jesus in the scriptures.

– I exercise the boldness and joy to proclaim Jesus as the only way by which men can be saved.

– I give no room for any other gospel.

– I judge every revelation through the lens of Jesus.
