DON’T LIVE AS AN IMPERFECT VESSEL
“And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.”
John 2:6-7 (KJV)
In the first chapter of John’s Gospel, he revealed Jesus as the one who has come to reveal the fullness of God.
He said, “No one has ever gazed upon the fullness of God’s splendor except the uniquely beloved Son,
who is cherished by the Father and held close to his heart. Now he has unfolded to us the full explanation of who God truly is!” John 1:18 (TPT)
Though it is said, that God spoke to Moses face to face or mouth to mouth, it was still in shadows. God was fully revealed in Christ.
The law was given through Moses, but Christ came as the embodiment of grace and truth. He came to show us God’s true person.
Jesus came to express the glory of the Father.
Now look at what happened when He turned water into wine.
“And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.” John 2:10 -11 (KJV).
The miracle of turning water into wine was to reveal His glory (which is the GLORY and REVELATION OF GOD).
Every miracle Jesus did was a sign to show us the Person of God.
Some are of the opinion that God doesn’t take an interest in everything that happens in our lives. But that is not the case. Jesus at the wedding ceremony reveals that God attends weddings.
In everything you do, don’t be shy to let God in. He is interested in your affairs.
The interest of God is not to just sit on His throne as the MIGHTY, ALL-POWERFUL GOD, who controls men and weighs their worship and sacrifices.
The interest of God is to love you, to be in you, live through you and be part of all you do.
You cannot explain the fullness of God through Moses.
In Moses, we see water turned into blood, but in Christ, water is turned into wine.
For water to be turned into blood points to death. However, Jesus showed us the essence of life, by turning water into wine. He came not to produce death. He came to produce life, gladness and eternal satisfaction.
The goodness of God was seen through Jesus.
The goodness of God always abound.
Mary came to Jesus saying, “There is no wine”.
Jesus made them fill the six waterpots to the brim. Each water pot takes 30 gallons. Thus, Jesus produced 150 more gallons for the wedding. They had more than enough, because of Jesus.
I mentioned in the previous post that the number six is the number of Man and also the number of imperfection (seven is also the number of perfection).
Man was made on the sixth day (he will always have something to do with the number 6). And also man who was good became imperfect. This is not to force an interpretation to churn “deeper” revelation. This is a basic symbolism to help appreciate the poetic whispers of the scriptures.
The waterpots are also vessels which can be imperfect because they are breakable.
The best wine Jesus produced didn’t come out of golden vessels with extraordinary water.
Out of this imperfect religious jar came a new fine wine.
“We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God’s, not ours.” 2 Corinthians 4:7 (TPT)
Now, the waterpots were not for the main event. They were used by strict Jewish religious leaders for their religious cleansing as they got on to the main event (Read Mark 7:3-4).
Because of how these waterpots have been used for religious activities, they needed to be refilled with fresh water. And it was filled to the brim. Water is mainly used by John as the symbol of the Spirit-life (John 4, John 7).
For the Lord to bring a perfect wine out of your imperfection, He has to transfuse His overflowing life into you.
As a new creation in Christ, the Lord has filled you with His Spirit-Life. That is an eternal treasure in you.
There is a treasure of God in you. Stop judging yourself by the imperfections. Look inside.
Within you is God’s refreshing answer to the world.
Don’t live as an imperfect vessel. Live according to the treasure of the Spirit within you.
For out of you the Lord is brewing a perfect wine to satisfy the world.
Hallelujah!
Thanking the Lord for the treasure of the Spirit within us and making us vessels of the overflowing Spirit-Life in our world
In the name of Jesus.
2 YEARS PLAN
Genesis 32
DECLARE THESE WORDS:
Wow this is truly eye opening
Moses turning water to blood signifies death and how the law that brought sin introduced death in man
Jesus turning water into wine also signifies the perfect law of liberty that makes us the carrier of divine life and the perfect expression of God
Jesus gives us abundant of the spirit life and makes his wine overflow in us that there is no challenge or situation in this world that men face we don’t have answers to
It’s all about we knowing the rich verities that Jesus has invested In us and not using the wrong mentality and mindset to water down these great investments
But that we will be the Holy Spirit unto many lives that are hopeless and see no future
Wow!
God uses imperfect vessels to do glorious things!
Thank you Jesus for your life at work in me that makes anything possible!
Amen
I am not an imperfect vessel.
Within me is God’s refreshing power to the world. Thank you Lord Jesus
Glory to God!!!!
Wow!!! Revelations upon revelations!!!
This episode is FIREEEE!!!!!
Glory to God. I take advantage of the Spirit Life of God within me. I don’t live an imperfect live.
Thank you Jesus!
Its amazing how this machaira whispers the unseen parts of the scriptures. The presence of Jesus at the wedding was the presence of God at the wedding.
The water pots were for washing, there were six of them which poetically means imperfect man.
The first thing God does to imperfect men is to fill Him with the Spirit (which is why He commanded that they fill the waterpots with fresh water). Water, in the language of John is Spirit. So, God fills you with His Spirit….by one spirit are we all baptized into one body and are all made to drink of one spirit.
Then while they looked He brewed water into wine by prayer and thanksgiving…if you are born again.
Dont be discouraged, dont live like an imprefect man…probably you havent been turned into wine yet to serve your generation.
Probably, you are just fresh water waiting to be converted..
The Lord is making you the taste of the nations.
Thank you Jesus.
What a message❤️…Gloreeey🙌🏻
Thank I you Jesus I made perfect in you. Is a great Joy to now the lord wants to make anything important to you according to His desire perfect for you. This is Good News.
Today, I have come to understand that Jesus came to express the glory of God the Father. By reason of the salvation and the anointing I have received, Jesus now lives in me. Therefore , I also express the glory of God! Thank You sweet Jesus!!
There is absolutely no greater love on earth than the love that God shows us.
I AM DEEPLY LOVED BY GOD!!
I am in so much awe of God.
How is it that the Creator of the entire universe, is so concerned about everything that concerns every single aspect of my life?
Thank You Jesus for your love!
When Jesus came on the earth, everything He did, showed us the essence of true life.
As I follow in His footsteps, I bring life to the people within my sphere by the things I say, the things I do and by my refreshing mindset which has been shaped by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus came to produce life, gladness and eternal satisfaction.
I follow DILLIGENTLY in my Master’s footsteps…in the name of Jesus!!
The goodness of God was seen through Jesus.
Therefore the goodness of God must be and will be seen through me…in the name of Jesus!!!
From the account of the wedding in Cana, I learn that when Jesus is around, there is always MORE THAN ENOUGH!! Therefore, it is an error to have Christ living in you and still dwell in scarcity. Christ is more than enough!!! In the presence of the Lord, there can never be shortages of joy, peace and favour. There is ABUNDANCE OF GRACE in Christ Jesus. Oh GLORY to God!!!
Jesus is always more than enough for me!!
When Jesus produced the best wine, it wasn’t produced in golden vessels. Rather, it was produced in an ordinary water jar. This teaches me that, even in the face of our imperfections, we are never too unworthy to be used by God. We must never run away from God. Once, we make the decision to give off our best for God in service, He transfuses His overflowing life into us and out of “imperfection”… perfection is birthed. Thank You Jesus for this privilege!!
I have been filled with the Spirit – Life of the Lord. This is my eternal treasure!!! Thank You Jesus!!!
I am God’s refreshing answer to the world!!!
I refuse to live as an imperfect vessel.
I live according to the treasure of the Spirit – Life within me.
Out of me comes a PERFECT WINE to satisfy this world.
THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!
GLORY TO GOD!!!!!!!!
