THERE ARE NO TWO GOSPELS
” For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” Romans 1:16 (NKJV)
When Paul the apostle, wrote about not being ashamed of the gospel he wasn’t just talking about the “act of preaching”; he was basically talking about the content of the message.
There are people who preach, but are ashamed to preach the gospel of our Lord.
Some think when they preach the gospel, people will continue in error. But from the opening verse, Paul said, the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto Salvation. (Romans 1:16).
Which means, people can only experience Salvation only by the preaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
Preaching the gospel is not necessarily a message with the name of God. When someone is reading and talking about verses from the Bible, it doesn’t mean he is preaching the gospel.
Beloved, there are no two gospels. The Gospel is ONE, and it’s the GOODNEWS of Our Lord Jesus.
The content and the essence of the Gospel is CHRIST.
This is the ONLY message entrusted to us.
This Gospel is completely balanced. It does not need any supplement.
It is the foundation of all teachings, prophecies and the manner of life or conducts of the saints in Christ.
Paul (the apostle of Jesus) in his epistle to the Galatians was not sentimental about this reality. He sharply and clearly established the divine thought on this matter of the gospel, when he noticed how the brethren were drifting away. They were beginning to take heed to other teachings apart from this Gospel of Christ:
“I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:6-9 (ESV)
To preach another gospel is not just the message that says; “Jesus is not God”, not just the beliefs that “There’s no God”.
To preach another gospel, is to preach and teach:
-Anything with the impression that the finished work of Christ is incomplete.
-Any message that takes the focus of the brethren away from Christ. And promotes “the self”, is not the Gospel.
-Any message that promotes dead works.
-A message that makes people feel they have to “do something to earn something” from God including His love, is not the Gospel.
-Any message like, “Heaven help those who help themselves” is not the gospel. Christ came for the helpless.
-The Gospel is not “do good for good”. Through the Gospel we received and enjoy God’s goodness.
– Any message which does not point you to, Righteousness by Faith in Christ, is not the gospel
-Any message that makes you feel you have to work hard to maintain, manage, preserve and keep your Salvation is not the gospel. Your salvation is eternal.
Beloved, the preaching of the gospel is not that Jesus, justified fornication, envy, adultery, robbery, killing and any evil acts.
Well, He didn’t even come to justify the good things you do.
Jesus came to JUSTIFY YOU.
To be justified is to be declared not guilty! It’s the declaration that in Him you are righteous.
This is the GOSPEL!

WE PRAY:
That we will grow in the knowledge of the gospel and demonstrate the boldness of the Spirit in preaching the gospel.
BIBLE READING
Day 68: Joshua 1-2
DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– I am justified eternally by the finished work of Christ.
– I am righteous by faith in Christ.
– My salvation is eternal.
– I am bold about the gospel of Our Lord Jesus. – I preach the gospel of Christ with boldness.
– I give no room for any other gospel.
OH Hallelujah, GLORY TO GOD!!!
