RUN TOWARDS YOUR GOAL
“It’s not that I’ve already reached the goal or have already completed the course. But I run to win that which Jesus Christ has already won for me.”Â
Philippins 3:12 (God’s Word Translation)
The finished work of Christ, through His death, burial, and resurrection, does not mean that we have no work or task as believers in Christ.
The finished work of Christ has produced the goodness of God in every believer.
The Lord has made every new creation in Christ His workmanship unto good works (Ephesians 2:10). Interestingly, these good works were foreordained in God before the foundation of the world.
God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it.
Which means by Christ’s finished work, we have access through faith into God and have been established in Him to execute His plans by our good works of faith.
The life of every believer is to be the execution of God’s eternal purpose. The original goal and purpose of your life is not for you to live and accomplish your personal ambition.
The goal of your life is to execute God’s purpose.
All that you need to accomplish God’s purpose and plan for your life are fully supplied to you by God, through His Spirit. However, you will still not automatically accomplish God’s goal for your life.
To achieve God’s goal for your life, you have to be intentional, you have to be determined, and you have to make a decision you are going to diligently work towards the goal or target.
Paul the apostle said, “I run to win…”
To run in this context also means to press on or to explode with determination towards your goal. It is to act in commitment to a course till you reach the finish line.
There is a level God wants you to reach, an impact God wants you to make, and a glorious purpose to fulfill. There is a target God has woven into your heart.
No matter how you will accomplish those personal ambitions of yours, you will only find true satisfaction when you pursue and accomplish God’s purpose and goal for your life.
This then requires that you set your heart and mind towards God’s goal for your life.
Live every day of your life by running towards the goal the Lord has set before you.
Don’t run away from purpose, run towards the purpose of God for you.

The original goal and purpose of your life is not for you to live and accomplish your personal ambition.
The goal of your life is to execute God’s purpose.

I have all the equipment i need to achieve my goal inside me therefore i imbue focus to run.

Even though everything I need to execute God’s purpose has already been supplied to me by the Spirit of God, the fulfillment of my God-given purpose is not automatic…
What I need to know is that I must be very intentional!
I must be very determined!
And I must decide to diligently work to achieve my target or goal…

If you don’t push nothing will really happen. That’s how I understood today’s episode
The walk with God is always an intentional walk nothing automatic since man has a will
your will helps make decisions so not even God can control this will
that is why his word is a GPS that helps us navigate our ways unto gaining results because there are other opposing wills but if we stick to the word of God that points us to the will of God we gain the God kind of results and The God kind of Goal effortlessly
so as believers we must always make sure our will is always in alignment and there is no selfish but Godly ambitions
I am intentional about my goals in the Lord and i set my will right to make the right choices for me to reach the Goal God has for me
The new creation was in God to accomplish His mandate. That Jesus, died for you does not mean there is no works of faith.
The opening verse says but i run to win that which my Lord Jesus has already won for me.
So yes!
Jesus won for me but my work is to win what He won for me.
To press on, is to explode with determination towards God’s agenda.
God has an agenda for me but until I decide to become an instrument for its fulfillment, nothing will happen.
