PRODUCE KINGDOM RESULTS

“Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: [so] that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it [to] you”

John 15:16 (ASV)

There is no single person who doesn’t want specific positive results or outcomes from what they do. Results are basically an outcome of a cause.

To have God’s Kingdom results, is to have results or success consistent with God’s purpose and will.

Kingdom Results are also fruits produced unto the glory of God.

This is the calling of God for every believer in Christ.

From the opening verse, Jesus was as clear as a bell with His reason for appointing the disciples. There wasn’t any uncertainty or ambiguity.

“Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide…”

To APPOINT is from the Greek word “tithēmi”, which means to ordain, to lay down, set in place or to set forth.

In appointing His disciples, Jesus set them in place to produce or bear fruits. Discipleship according to Jesus, is for fruit-bearing or Kingdom results. To be a disciple of Jesus is to live to produce God-centered results. It is not about producing self-gratificating results as the people of the world. Your results must reflect and express the goodness and excellence of God’s Kingdom.

The interesting thing is this, Jesus doesn’t produce the results or bear fruits for you as a believer in Christ. He only sets you up with all the resources and nourishment you need to produce consistent kingdom fruits.

The grace of God is the nourishment of God supplied to you to make you fruitful. As apostle Paul said, “… and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain…” (1 Corinthians 15:10). 

The abundant supply or grace of God makes you responsible.

This means that to have Kingdom results you must be intentional. You don’t automatically get Kingdom results.

1. You have to make a decision you are going to do much more as a disciple of Jesus.

You don’t have to wish for results, you have to decide. Your decisions influence your actions.

The evidence that the decision is not a wish is in the consistent steps you take towards it. By God’s own creative system, nothing works effectively until you make it work.

2. Be Consumed with the Success of the Kingdom.

As it was noted by the disciples of Jesus, as He entered the temple to set things in order; “That’s when his disciples remembered the Scripture: “I am consumed with a fiery passion to keep your house pure!” John 2:17 (TPT)

Jesus didn’t allow the temple to remain scattered. The temple was a symbolic representation of God’s kingdom system. Jesus didn’t allow things to remain as He met them. He didn’t just wish for change, He took steps to bring change.

Don’t allow the Kingdom to remain as you met it. Be the reason the Kingdom will grow and expand.

Beloved, this new year offers you the opportunities to achieve Kingdom results.
