SIXTEEN PROJECTILES TO INTERCEPT 8
“so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.”
2 Corinthians 2:11(ESV)
The adversary doesn’t only attack the faith of the believer through a disappointment, discouragement, a state of despair, doubt, disbelief, distraction and double-mindedness.
The adversary’s biggest attack on the believer in these last days is DECEPTION. This is a matter I have addressed in some other episodes.
The heart of the unsaved is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9).
This doesn’t mean the new creation in Christ cannot be deceived. The adversary deceives the believer through falsehood.
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:13).
“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” 2 John 1:7 (KJV)
Beware of any teaching which is not consistent with the word of God.
The ninth projectile of the devil is DULLNESS of heart.
Spiritual fervency is needful in the service of the Lord.
To be spiritually fervent is not only about how active you are in prayer and how enthusiastic you are in performing spiritual duty. It is also about your ability to comprehend deep spiritual thoughts.
Dullness in spirit in understanding spiritual things is a dangerous virus.
No one in such state will be able to grow effectively. To mature in the Lord is to work on your activeness in the spirit. Those who suffer dullness in spirit, are not receptive to the message of the Lord. Their minds become active with carnal things, they are immature.
This is what Paul (the apostle) said, “Brothers and sisters, when I was with you I found it impossible to speak to you as those who are spiritually mature people, for you are still dominated by the mind-set of the flesh. And because you are immature infants in Christ, I had to nurse you and feed you with “milk,” not with the solid food of more advanced teachings, because you weren’t ready for it. In fact, you are still not ready to be fed solid food, for you are living your lives dominated by the mind-set of the flesh. Ask yourselves: Is there jealousy among you? Do you compare yourselves with others? Do you quarrel like children and end up taking sides? If so, this proves that you are living your lives centered on yourselves, dominated by the mind-set of the flesh, and behaving like unbelievers. For when you divide yourselves up in groups—a “Paul group” and an “Apollos group”—you’re acting like people without the Spirit’s influence.” 1 Corinthians 3:1-4 (TPT)
Paul the apostle in the verse above goes on further to address a certain characteristic of a person who is dull in spirit.
Dullness in the spirit makes you live a life dominated by the flesh. You even behave like an unbeliever.
This doesn’t only affect you, it also affects the assembly of the saints.
When you are spiritually dull, you cannot receive nor draw out from the wells of wisdom.
“We have much to say about this topic although it is difficult to explain, because you have become too dull and sluggish to understand.” Hebrews 5:11 (TPT).
Your activeness in the Spirit begins with how your promptly respond to instructions and the training of the word.
The more you humble yourself to be adequately trained the more your spiritual senses are able to perceive and enjoy heavenly matters.
Hallelujah!
I thank you for your word and for the opportunity to be trained and nurtured in truth, that my heart will always be alive and sensitive to the wisdom of God. In the Name of Jesus.
Another wisdom thought today. I really love this series I am learning a lot. Thank you Apostle

In Jesus name.
I remain humble at all times to be trained and nurtured by the word.
Hallelujah!!
I can not afford to be spiritually dull.
My heart is always alive and sensitive to the wisdom of God
I refuse to be dull in the the spirit.
I am fervent in spirit
Im fervent in spirit serving the Lord always.
This is amazing. I was privileged to hear Apostle comment about this Machaira with Apostle Bennie devotional in our Saturday Church.
Subtly dullness has engulfed many believer’s Spirits, they are not enthused about God, his Word and his instructions. This is why, in dire situations when they pray and declare the Word, they don’t see manifestations. This is why in the face of ailment, they thing they need to pray or fast to address the situation. Sharpness spiritually is not necessarily about just prayer, it is the singleness of your spirit on the word, the promptness of your spirit on the word.
I refuse to dull spiritually, I celebrate the word. Whether there is an issue or not, i remain sharp. I value the teachings of the word.
Pride is a contributor to why people always stay dull because they think they know and are not ready to submit to teaching and they then get educated wrongly by people who don’t even know their left from their right
laziness is also a contributor because many are not ready to go through systematic training to be built firmly in the word in order to escape these projectiles but want quick means to reach success but it’s never that way
I strongly agree with you on this sir
Dullness in the spirit makes you live a life dominated by the flesh. You even behave like an unbeliever.
Mercy Lord!!
I am fervent in spirit to comprehend deep spiritual thoughts.
This is indeed an amazing journey..thank you Apostle for this insights!
