Though Jesus is the captain of your Salvation, the manifestation of His life in you is your responsibility.
There are many who keep making such mistakes. They sit to watch how God will direct their lives.
There are believers who want God to make them prayerful without their efforts. They want to automatically become word addicts as they spend their time watching online comedy.
The finished work of Christ through His death, burial and resurrection did not nullify the necessity of your work of faith.
By His finished work, you have come into the enjoyment of the divine blessings and life. By your work of faith, you bear fruits and show forth His glory.
God through Christ has predestined your life. However, the direction of your life is not automatically steered towards the destination determined by God.
The direction of your life is determined by the choices you make.
God works in you both to will and to do (Philippians 2:13), yet, you have the responsibility to first and daily submit your will to God’s will.
Why do you think two believers may not make the same level of impact?
It is not only because of how God designed their lives. It is also because of how they both take advantage of the resources of the Lord. It takes grace to accomplish great things.
Nevertheless, God doesn’t just supply the ability of grace to people. It’s the responsibility of every believer to grow or increase in grace (2 Peter 3:18).
While discussing the Lord’s armor, we noticed the emphasis of Paul (the apostle) on how each believer is responsible for the usage of the various armorpieces. Though God supplied the whole armor to the believer, it is the believer who has to “put on” and “take up” each armorpiece.
No matter how you cry or sing, “Jesus take the wheel”, He will only teach you how to steer the wheel. He wouldn’t steer the wheel without you.
The beautiful thing about your life is that God through Christ, has supplied all that you need to live the life He has designed for you. You have to take advantage of what He has supplied to you. This is what it means to live in rest.
To live and function in rest is to operate in faith.
Don’t assume your life will move towards the right direction. Divine direction will always require your obedience of faith.
God doesn’t direct your life without your involvement. God only shows you which way to go and how to steer the rudder.
No matter how huge boats, ships or aeroplanes are, their direction will be determined by their rudder.
The captain must be skillful to know how to steer the rudder.
AGAIN:
The direction of your life is not automatically steered towards the destination determined by God.
You must make a decision that you are going to be a skillful captain to move your life in the way of the Lord.
A skillful captain or helmsman knows how to submit to the word of God and utilize the knowledge of the word to steer his life towards God’s direction.
Don’t leave your life to chance, partner with the Lord to take hold of the rudder of your life.

Thank you Lord Jesus. I don’t leave my life to chance and luck, I live a purposeful life in the way of the Lord. He perfects all that which concerns me through me. I am a participator with the Lord in His divine plan for my life. I take advantage of His grace, His Word and the influence of the Spirit to be obedient in Faith..

Thank you Lord Jesus. My choices are the right ones that leads to the fulfillment of my destiny. I have rest on every side due to the Grace and supply of resources upon my life. I shall not waste the resources. I TAKE ACTION !

I am a skilful captain and I move my life in the way of God.
Upon diligent meditation on this Episode, I realised this is what most believers have not been able master to walk in fruitfulness thereof. Most of the times, we just end at only believing but not working out the faith. Therefore the tools and the arsenals needed to pick up the accomplishing victory is not always there. However, enlightenment has come today through this episode and I’m glad to put it to work.
