PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL PRAYER 2

“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints”

Ephesians 6:18 (NKJV)

As we have already taken a look at the need for prayer in this spiritual warfare, you must become intentional with prayer.

Every believer must go all out in prayer day and night, praying always with all prayer in the Spirit.

As part of praying all prayer; the prayer of worship and thanksgiving is important.

This kind of prayer helps you to acknowledge who God is and the glorious things He has done for you.

There are some who limit the prayer of thanksgiving to, before and after other kinds of prayers. But that is not what it is.

You must pray all prayers in the Spirit and with thanksgiving in your heart.

“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” Philippians 4:6 (ESV).

The reality that you are in touch with the Lord through prayer is enough for you to be grateful. Prayer as a battlefield transceiver is an assurance that the Lord, who is the Chief Captain of the Kingdom Army is with you.

More than 50 times, Paul mentions “thanks” or “thanksgiving” in his epistles.

He thanked the Lord:
– for His eternal plans and purpose.

– for the workings of His grace.

– for His love towards the saints

– for the spread of the gospel.

– for the faith of the saints

– for the accomplishments of His death and resurrection.

Prayer of thanksgiving is a great demonstration of faith.

Jehoshaphat for example, led Judah and Jerusalem to battle against Moab, thanking and praising the Lord even before they got to the battlefield.  (2 Chronicles 20:21-22)

With such prayer, the Lord may put psalms, hymns and spiritual songs of praise on your lips.

You celebrate the victory of the Lord daily.

Glory to God!

There is also the prayer of faith or declarative prayer.

With this, you articulate the word of God with the conviction, consciousness and confidence of faith.

It is not a prayer of request; it is the speaking forth of what God has said. It is a prayer of decree.

“You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways” Job 22:28 (NKJV).

The decree here is not only about speaking or making a proclamation. It is also making a decision. So, what you speak forth is also a strong decision of faith in your heart.

Pray with thanksgiving in your heart. And declare the wondrous things the Lord has done for you.

When you pray this way, you increase in boldness, and joy in the Holy Spirit and confuse the forces of darkness.

It is a warfare strategy given to us by the Lord; make good use of it.

Hallelujah!

DIG DEEPER
(Ephesians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 2:14; 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14; Psalm 136:1; Psalm 103:1-2; Job 22:22-29)

WE PRAY
We pray thanking the Lord for the glorious things He has accomplished for us through His death, burial and resurrection.

And we pray declaring our victory in Christ Jesus.

(NB: PRAY using the  DIG DEEPER scriptures)

BIBLE READING IN THE YEAR 2024
Psalm 59 – 64

DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– Thank you Lord Jesus for your eternal plans and purpose for all mankind.

– Thank you for the workings for your grace in my life.

– Thank you Lord for your love towards me.

– Thank you for all the glorious things you accomplished for me through your death and resurrection.

Oh thank you Lord Jesus for all that you have done for me!

We'd love to connect with you!

To help you build a proper foundation of spiritual understanding.

‭Job 22:28-29 NKJV‬

This is the warfare strategy; Thanksgiving prayers. No wonder Jehoshaphat won the battle easily.. David, a man of war said, Seven times a day will I praise you. . He really understood this warfare strategy.

I utilise this strategy from hence
