GOD DESIGNED YOU FOR PRODUCTIVITY
” …because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful”
Deuteronomy 16:15b (ESV)
Why do you see people who are blessed of the Lord, yet are not manifesting that blessing?
Beloved, laziness is one of the reasons people don’t see the manifestation of their blessing.
The Lord does not bless your laziness; the Lord blesses the work of your hands and your produce. There is nothing the lazy produces. And that is one of the major causes of failure.
People fail, live poor and struggle to make any advancement because they are lazy.
You can have great potentials and not manifest any greatness.
To be lazy is to be slothful, sluggish or indolence. A lazy person avoids exertion or productive activity. Unproductive activity is no activity when it comes diligence.
The lazy is not diligent and cannot rule.
“Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends on forced labor.” Proverbs 12:24
A disciple of Jesus cannot be relevant in the kingdom when you remain lazy. Our Lord rewards faithfulness. And laziness cannot make you faithful.
God ordained work, and expects you to be diligent with the work or the task He inspires or instructs you to do.
The lazy person can desire greatness and still not experience it.
“A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied” Proverbs 13:4
Greatness may begin with your desire, however, your desire must translate into consistent action which will birth the greatness.
“The soul of the lazy man desires and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich” (Proverbs 13:4 KJV).
Having desire is one thing, and being diligent to work towards it, is what makes the desire a reality.
Such person will speak of great ideas or plans yet, will not take any action. And even when they begin to take a step towards their plans, they lack the discipline to complete the task.
The lazy or sluggish person makes excuses and amplifies challenges, because he or she hates to work. A lazy person will give exaggerated reasons they couldn’t start nor complete a task.
“The lazy one [manufactures excuses and] says, “There is a lion outside! I will be killed in the streets [if I go out to work]!” Proverbs 22:13 (Amplified Bible).
A sluggard person wastes time and destroys great plans or success. (Proverbs 18:9)
God designed you for productivity.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 (ESV).
Through your diligence you bring honor to God and fulfill divine purpose.
Get up and get to work.
Don’t waste time on sleep.
Don’t waste time on things which don’t contribute to your success.
Set daily goals and targets, so that you can measure your success and impact.
Don’t sit thinking of why you were not blessed, whiles you know clearly what to do to manifest blessings.
The LORD BLESSES THE INCREASE OF YOUR PRODUCE AND THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS.
Avoid any reason or anything that leads to idleness or unproductivity.
Selah!
