THE BLESSINGS OF GIVING 6 – THE LORD SUPPLIES ALL YOUR NEED

” And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)

We have seen some few blessings of giving from the previous episodes.
We have seen that:

The next blessing of giving I want us to look at, is that:

THE LORD SHALL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED

Oh hallelujah!
I believe if you’ve been in Church meetings for a while, you might have heard this blessed utterance several times or at least twice if not once.
This blessed utterance wasn’t an automatic blessing to the saints. Paul, the apostle, made this declaration to the saints in Philippi because of how they have been a blessing to him, through their giving.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean to say God doesn’t provide for His children. Or God waits for you to give before He provides for you.
In as much as we are all blessed there is blessing in giving.
Just as God loves us all, yet He loves (prizes above and is unwilling to do without) a prompt to do it giver.
This is a unique expression of God’s love. This love reveals how God takes interest in working with such givers.
Though the Lord has blessed us with all spiritual blessings, there is such a thing as ALL GRACE (every favor and earthly blessing) which abounds towards you for being a giver.
In this same light, God who provides for us all, makes unique supply for all the needs of those who give towards those who labour in the gospel.
Let see the context of this blessing:

” My heart overflows with joy when I think of how you showed your love to me by your financial support of my ministry. For even though you have so little, you still continue to help me at every opportunity. I’m not telling you this because I’m in need, for I have learned to be satisfied in any circumstance. I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.
You’ve so graciously provided for my essential needs during this season of difficulty. For I want you to know that the Philippian church was the only church that supported me in the beginning as I went out to preach the gospel. You were the only church that sowed into me financially, and when I was in Thessalonica, you supported me for well over a year. I mention this not because I’m requesting a gift, but so that the fruit of your generosity may bring you an abundant reward. I now have all I need—more than enough—I’m abundantly satisfied! For I’ve received the gift you sent by Epaphroditus and viewed it as a sweet sacrifice, perfumed with the fragrance of your faithfulness, which is so pleasing to God!
I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through the Anointed One, Jesus Christ! And God our Father will receive all the glory and the honor throughout the eternity of eternities! Amen!  Philippians 4:10-20 (TPT)

From the above verses of the epistles to the Philippians, you will see why Paul spoke the blessings of divine supply.
He blessed them because, they supported His ministry work of the gospel financially.
Your financial support of the gospel is never in vain. There is always an abundant reward through the fruits of your giving.
Sow financially into the gospel. Don’t hold back whenever you get the opportunity to give. From the verses 10, Paul was excited to receive their giving through Epaphroditus.

” My heart overflows with joy when I think of how you showed your love to me by your financial support of my ministry”
And their giving was a great satisfaction to Paul (see verse 18).
Your giving creates an overwhelming joy in the service of the Lord. And the Lord shall cause you to experience and enjoy the supply of your needs according to His riches in glory.

Beloved are you a CHEERFUL PROMPT TO DO IT GIVER?
