— FAITH IS OBEDIENT
“Because Noah had faith, he was warned about something that had not yet happened. He obeyed and built a boat that saved him and his family. In this way the people of the world were judged, and Noah was given the blessings that come to everyone who pleases God.”
Hebrews 11:7 (CEV)
The matter of faith is not an assumption nor a mere enthusiasm.
The faith which cannot fail is:
– A speaking faith. Faith is not silent. Faith vocalizes the word of God.
– A daring faith. Faith is not a coward. The faith which cannot fail is audacious or confident. Faith boldly acts on the word against all odds.
To have faith is not just to act according to your desire. To have faith is to act in accordance with the word of God.
Faith is obedience to God.
Before the flood, God instructed Noah to build an ark. The period during which God instructed Noah he had no sign of any possible flood. It never made sense to the people that the whole world would be destroyed by flood. The people couldn’t imagine the possibility of such news.
Noah didn’t build the ark because he had physical evidence of the coming flood. What Noah knew was that God has spoken and he must obey Him.
Noah could have joined the people in his days to doubt the instruction of the Lord. But his faith or trust in God made him obey the word of the Lord even though it didn’t make sense.
Moses demonstrated faith when he obeyed God by performing the rite of Passover and sprinkled the lamb’s blood, to prevent the destroyer from harming their firstborn.
The obedience of faith is not just following some rules and regulations.
The obedience of faith is submitting to the authority and power of the word of God.
No matter what you see around you, submit your mind to what God says.
As you walk in the obedience of the word of God, you are walking in the faith of God.

Thank you Jesus. My steps are guided by your word.
The Word is the compass of my life.
I submit to the authority of the word of God in all situations.
I walk in obedience to God’s word

I am obedient even when there is no sign and to even act without any sign shows great faith

To act in faith is to act according to the word of God and not your desires
I act according to the word.
But his faith or trust in God made him obey the word of the Lord even though it didn’t make sense.
Faith will always not make sense to the carnal man…

The obedience of faith is not just following some rules and regulations.
The obedience of faith is submitting to the authority and power of the word of God.
No matter what you see around you, submit your mind to what God says.

I am not silent
The word of God in my heart is not for a silent life: I vocalize my faith
“O we all having the same Spirit of faith as it is written “ I believe therefore do I speak
By the word of God I officiate my life
What I say is final !
I call forth things which are not and they manifest

I submit to the authority and the power of the word of God.
My heart submits to the power of the word as I fully walk in obedience to what it says.
I walk in obedience to what God says.
In the face of opposition and adversity, I choose to obey the word of God!
The word of God has power over me.
I submit to the authority and power of the word of God!
I submit to the instructions that come with faith
