STEWARDS OF GOD’S RESOURCES 11
“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
1 Peter 4:10 (NKJV)
As sons of God, we must be determined to be faithful stewards. To be faithful stewards is to become responsible sons in the Kingdom.
As sons and stewards of God, we express the life of God and manage or administrate His resources respectively.
At the end of all things you are not going to account for your sonship, you are going to account for your stewardship.
Our sonship in Christ grants us access to God’s inheritance and resources. Nevertheless, we must learn to use these resources to serve the Lord’s purpose.
We are not sons who live as civilians in the Kingdom. Understand that, there are no civilians in the Kingdom of God, though we are all citizens. All of us are citizens, sons, soldiers and stewards in the Kingdom of God. No one is expected to sit on the fence with their arms folded in the Kingdom.Â

Everyone has a duty to perform. God made us to function here on Earth for the benefit of His Kingdom. Whatever God has made you to be, deposited into you and provided for you is to make you relevant in His Kingdom mission and to express His glory. You must be intentional with how you take care of yourself and how you live for God’s glory.
We have already seen how God has made each of us stewards of our lives. The true meaning of your life is revealed when you use your life to serve God’s Kingdom.
The second resource we have discussed is TIME. Whatever you will accomplish on Earth is also determined by how you effectively use time. You must be a faithful steward of the time God has given to you. At the end of all things, you shall make account of what you did in your body within every time frame, as a Steward. Your stewardship on Earth is time-bound. Though your fellowship with the Lord transcends time.
God’s Kingdom mission and vision require so much resources. Apart from the investment of your entire being and stewardship of time, you must also be an effective steward of the gifts and abilities God has given you.
To take this further, you must remain conscious of one of the key points I emphasized at the beginning of this discussion;
GOD IS THE SOURCE AND CREATOR OF EVERY MATTER AND LIFE.
This means that whether a gift is a natural talent or a supernatural gift, it comes from God.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17 (NKJV)
All that is of God must be used to serve God’s purpose.
Some people think they possess their natural gifts or talents and can decide whether to honor God with them or not.
What is your natural talent, and what spiritual or supernatural gift do you possess?
Are you a faithful steward of these gifts?

It is easy to serve the LORD with all of your time and gifts when you have submitted all of your heart to Him.Every person is given a special ability or gift (which is also known as talent in some instances) for the service of the Lord. Some of these abilities are natural gifts (or talents) and supernatural gifts.
To take this further, you must remain conscious of one of the key points I emphasized at the beginning of this discussion;

It is not only supernatural gifts which are given by God. Natural talents are also of God and must be used for His glory.To be a faithful steward of the talents and gifts you possess, you must know that they are of God and must be used to serve others and to advance God’s Kingdom course.

We pray that we will always continue to humbly see each gift or special skill or talent we possess as a gift or talent which is of God and must be used to honor God and to advance His Kingdom.

People think they have prayed and made sacrifices for their gift so they have to eat of its fruit in a way that doesn’t glorify God
But as he gave you everything that is good and perfect he expects you to use them to exhibit excellence to flourish his kingdom

This series is so refreshing.
A responsible son is a faithful steward. Though we are sons of God we’re expected to serve the Lord with the resources or inheritance the Lord has granted us. We’re sons but we don’t live as civilians in the kingdom but as soldiers and not to sit on the fence with arms folded.
