ADVANCE IN GLORY 5 – Beholding Jesus
“And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.“
2 Cor. 3:18 (Amplified)
As partakers of His glory, we have a mandate to express Him in all things.
The Lord chose you and brought you into Himself for this purpose.
“But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.” 1 Peter 2:9 (TPT).
However, you cannot express the glory of God beyond the intensity of His light in your heart.
The level or degree at which you show forth the glory of God will always be according to your inward growth. For as glory is an outward expression, it begins by inward transformation. This transformation is not a one-time event. It is a continuous experience.
There are three levels of the Salvation experience.
The first level is the TRANSFUSION of the Life of God. This is when you receive the divine life into your spirit at your new birth. God infuses you with Himself and His light.
The second is TRANSFORMATION. Transformation is not the condition of your spirit. It is the conditioning of your heart. This is not a one-time experience. It is different from the transfusion of the life of God into you.
“And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].” Romans 12:2 (Amplified Bible).
This progressive transformation is what we call spiritual maturity. Spiritual maturity is not when your spirit grows. It is when you grow in the spirit. Your growth in the spirit is when your mind is renewed through the culturing and understanding of the word of God.
It is your growth in consciousness that brings you into transformation.
The third level is TRANSFIGURATION, some interchange the use of transformation and tranfiguration. But beloved, to be transfigured is to be physically elevated in glory and beauty. This is what we may experience at the appearance of Jesus. It is the resurrection of our decaying bodies into glorious incorruptible heavenly bodies. (Philippians 3:21).
The transformation of our minds is essential in our walk with God here on Earth.
We have already seen the transformation of our lives through the renewal of our minds. This renewal of mind is according to what you behold.
The opening verse affirms the secret to being transformed from one glory to a higher degree of glory.
And it is: BEHOLDING THE GLORY OF GOD!
We have already established that Christ Jesus is the express image of the glory of God. And Jesus is the revelation of the Word of God. Therefore the more you behold the Word of God the more you behold the glory of God.
And the more you behold the glory of God, the more you are transformed into the image of the glory you have beheld.
When you pray for a higher dimension of glory, God directs you to His word.
For the entrance of the Word of God in your heart, is the entrance of a dimension of the light of the glory of God.
Keep beholding the revelation of Jesus through His Word.

WE PRAY
– We shall access the right revelation of Jesus which shall cause to be transformed into the perfect image of Him.
– And that we shall daily experience the renewal of hearts through the revelation of the glory of God.

– I keep my gaze daily on the word of God.
