What you do must be according to the Lord’s due order of greatness. Don’t just do things for God and call them great. It is the things which God has designed you to do that must be done. Whatever God has called you to do, the intention and purposes has been foreordained. Selah.

    YOU ARE A LIFE DISPENSER

“The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit”

    1 Corinthians 15:45 (NLT)

As I wrote in the previous episode, “The Best Comes Out of You”,  I explained that the born again has the divine life as his or her life. And he is also a partaker of God’s nature.

God dwells in you through the Spirit. The Holy Spirit in you also means you have the capacity to express God, just as Jesus did.

The expression of God is the reality of the believer as one brought into sonship.

To express God is to demonstrate and dispense His life.

Jesus said, “…I am come that you have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10).

Jesus didn’t come to dispense death nor darkness because He is LIFE. And His Life is the light of men.

He said to Martha, “I am the resurrection, and the Life”

Anything that comes out of Jesus is LIFE.

He is not as the first Adam who is a living soul. Paul the Apostle refers to him as the Life-giving Spirit.

“The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit” 1 Corinthians 15:45 (NLT)

And the beautiful thing is this, as the Lord is so are you.

As He is Light, so has He made us Light (John 8:12; Matthew 5:14).

As He is righteous, even so has He made us the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). As He is a King, He has made us kings and priests (Revelation 1:6).

Therefore as He is a Life-giving Spirit, He has also made us life-giving spirits.

As a born again, you don’t only have the life of God, you have the capacity of God to shine forth His light and show forth His glory!

You have the capacity and the mandate to bring many into the participation of His life.

As one whose spirit is mingled with the life-giving Spirit, you have the ability to dispense the life of God in every place.

Which means darkness and anything of death cannot prevail in your sphere.

Go forth this day as a distributor of the Life of God.

    Hallelujah!

EPISODE 845 – YOUR CUP WILL NEVER RUN DRY

Precious one, PRAYER CHANGES YOU! The glory of God in you is revealed as you spend time in prayer. Your consistent prayer life is a threat to the devil. The devil is more scared of what prayer will do to you than the answers you will receive. Selah.

YOUR CUP WILL NEVER RUN DRY

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.”

    Psalm 23:5 (NKJV)

The anointing brings healing and comfort to your wounds. To be anointed is to be consecrated by God for His divine purposes and protection.

The anointing of the Lord upon you is a demonstration of how much He values and honours you.

The quality of oil your host pours on you reveals the degree of value he places on you.

Our Lord anointed you with His Spirit. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is the immeasurable quality of the Spirit dispensed into you.

The anointing is not only poured on you; it is also transfused into you as a divine quality.

This makes your life a rich, anointed life for the glory of the Lord.

I don’t know how you see yourself, precious one in Christ. However, from the day you believed in Jesus and received the Holy Spirit into you, you received a gushing fountain, which springs up as life. It is not only designed to nourish you, but to make you a fountain to nourish others.

Your cup is too small to contain all that the Lord has poured into you. And you know what?

He is not stopping, THE LORD KEEPS POURING MORE!

It is a gushing fountain overflowing into every aspect of your life, and to nourish the multitudes

    Glory to God!

The reality is that whatever the Lord serves you with, He serves it superabundantly. One may think it is wrong to say Our Lord serves. He is King, and we must serve Him. That is the irony here. Our Lord is not the King who demands service. He serves you, and any service you may render to Him, He does it with you. For without Him, you can do nothing. (John 15:5).

“For even the Son of Man did not come expecting to be served by everyone, but to serve everyone, and to give his life as the ransom price in exchange for the salvation of many.” Mark 10:45 (TPT).

The Lord serves you with His best.

Whatever He serves you with dispenses the life (which has an eternal value) into you. He gives water, and it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, springing up and flooding you with endless life!

The term or word “Cup” in Psalm 23:5 has been given several meanings. Considering the various figurative meanings of “Cup” throughout scriptures.

This word is used in scriptures both figuratively and literally. Literally, it is a usual cup (either of horn or some precious metal); it is used for drinking during meals or ceremonies. It is used during a family or a solemn, sacred meal.

At such sacramental meals, the head or father of the family pronounced certain blessings over the cup. That makes the cup a cup of blessing. Depending on the pronouncement made over the cup (These cups are mostly filled with wine). After tasting it, the head or father passes it around to the company and his whole family, who will also partake of it. (Just as it happened during the “Lord’s supper“).

All through the scriptures, you will find expressions such as:
The “cup of salvation” (Psalm 116:13), the “cup of consolation” (Jeremiah 16:7). There is also the cup of death, the cup of trembling, and the cup of wrath.

    These are figurative expressions.

In ancient East and even Egypt, there was also an art of divining by means of a cup (Genesis 44:2-17)

The concept of the cup in a figurative or metaphoric sense depicts an individual’s fate, destiny, and satisfaction with time and life.

    For example,
In Psalm 16, the Psalmist said,
“O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot.” Psalm 16:5 (NKJV).

Read it in The Passion Translation:

“Lord, I have chosen you alone as my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. I leave my destiny and its timing in your hands.”

However, Psalm 23:5 emphasises an abundant life with an overflowing cup (portion of blessings and satisfaction). This is an overwhelming or mighty picturesque in an arid or semiarid topography.

From the above point, I want you to know that YOUR CUP, which runs over, is not merely an object you have in your hand.

    It is your LIFE.

The Psalmist said, “MY CUP“. This points to “HIS LIFE AND LIVING“.

The Lord doesn’t put an object or cup into your hand just for you to receive His precious wine. His LIFE becomes your LIFE (John 10:10; Colossians 3:4). And this LIFE is the CUP which overflows with HIS RICH ABUNDANT SUPPLY of His drink.

“Now on the last and most important day of the feast, Jesus stood and called out [in a loud voice], ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me], as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.” John 7:37-38 (Amplified Bible).

Beloved in Christ, let this reality settle deeply in you that your cup (your life and living, which is the life of God in you) will never run dry.

ENJOY THE OVERFLOWING, GRACIOUS BLESSINGS OF THE LORD.

    Selah.

BELIEVE IN THE REPORT OF THE LORD

“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”

    Isaiah 53:1 (NKJV)

The Hebrew word for REPORT is shemû‛âh, which means something heard, that is an announcement. It is also a doctrine or a news, tidings and bruit.

There are several reports, especially in this technological age.
These reports create a belief system in your heart. They compete with the glorious message of Christ in your heart.
The core or central message of the scriptures is Christ.
All the reports you find in this world and from your imaginations which are contrary to the word of God, don’t have any perpetual foundation.

They only tickle your mind to live a shadow of your true essence.
The revelation of God declared, is the only news which reveals your true essence.
To believe in the report of the Lord is a choice you have to make.
You have to channel your desires and imaginations or thoughts towards the Lord.

Until you decide to see or accept God’s Word as TRUTH, and the focus of your believe or persuasion, you will be shadow boxing.
The word of grace is the Lord’s report to you.
    Do you believe it?

Or do you think they are mere stories and unfounded theories?

Beloved the reality of God’s word is unmatched.

Believe in it wholeheartedly for it is LIFE!

TRUE CHRISTIANITY – CHRIST LIVES IN YOU

“so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me”

    Galatians 2:20 (GNT)

Undoubtedly, there are many religions or religious groups in the world. However, true Christianity is not one of these religions; though over a period of time some have created a religion out of the true Christian faith.

Those who believed in Jesus were referred to as Christians in Antioch, because of the life they exuded. They were not called Christians because of their religious activities.

“…It was in Antioch that the followers of Jesus were first revealed as “anointed ones”. Acts 11:26 (TPT)

From the King James Bible, the word used was “called” instead of “revealed”.

The word “called” is from the Greek word, “Chrematizo” which means to utter an oracle or to divinely intimate; it is to reveal and to constitute a certain reality.

In Antioch, the believers in Christ were not just called “Christians” as a term. They spoke of them as Christians, by supernatural revelation.

Christ, (Christos in Greek) means the anointed.
    True Christians are:
    – followers of Christ
    – a people who are in oneness of fellowship with Christ
    – and also the anointed ones by supernatural revelation.

True Christianity is not following Christ by trying to obey some external rules. It is living an organic life.

It is great to know that Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven. (Acts 1:9-12); yet you may not experience the reality of His life.

The glorious mystery of God revealed is that, Christ is in you (Colossians 1:27).
To know True Christianity is to know that the Christ who ascended, now lives in you through the Spirit.

This is not religion. This is life!

True Christianity is the expression of God’s life in you.

Please take a look at the opening verse in the Passion Translation:

“My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, and dispenses his life into mine Galatians 2:20 (TPT)

Beloved, True Christianity is Christ living in you. It is functioning by faith in Christ. This transcends religion.

    PORTRAIT OF GRACE 4

“For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ”

    John 1:17 (ESV)

The Grace of God is a person. The more you see Jesus, the more you see the Grace of God.

He is full of Grace and Truth (John 1:14)

Salvation came by the Grace of God. The Grace of God is the supply of God Himself into you.

Grace came to reveal God’s original character. Until Grace came, the picture many had of God was a Supreme Judge with mood swings. And people assume the conduct of men controlled God’s mood.

They think God is loving and blessing when man makes Him happy, and then He becomes condemning and hateful when man goes wrong. Some even assume that God sees man as His enemy.

By the revelation of God’s Grace, we see that God’s love towards man is not dependent on man but on Himself. God has never seen man as His enemy.

Though God hates and frowns at sin, God loves and saves the sinner. This is the Grace of God.

The Grace of God doesn’t come to accuse and condemn you. The Grace of God forgives and empowers you to live above sin.

The law of Moses outlines things you should do to become right with God. The law of Moses places unbearable demands on you.  However, the Grace of God dispenses the life of God into you, brings you into the right standing with God and then teaches and helps you to say “No” to ungodliness.

Don’t run away from God, just because you are struggling with any form of ungodliness. Run to God instead!

The Grace of God is a teacher and your present help; because Jesus is the greatest teacher and helper.

“God’s marvelous grace has manifested in person, bringing salvation for everyone. This same grace teaches us how to live each day as we turn our backs on ungodliness and indulgent lifestyles, and it equips us to live self-controlled, upright, godly lives in this present age.” Titus 2:11-12 (TPT)

The person of Grace and Truth (Jesus), dispenses Himself into you as life. And then also by the impartation of His life, you live right.

Grace doesn’t just tell you what to do, Grace supplies and equips you with the help to express God (to live a self-controlled, upright, godly life).

Grace teaches you to focus on the life of God in you and by that, you turn away from (or say “No” to) ungodliness.

The law of Moses demands that you live right to become righteous. Grace teaches you to live right and to say “no” to ungodliness because you have been made righteous in Christ.

This is exactly what we saw in the previous episode. Jesus did not accuse nor condemn the adulterer. He forgave her and enabled her not to sin any more.

Just in case you are struggling with any addiction, turn to Jesus and receive the supply of Grace to live free from every lawless deed. He is not against you, He is your teacher and helper.

Beloved, grow in this grace and the knowledge of Christ.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. (1 Corinthians 16:23)

    Enjoy His rest.

    PORTRAIT OF GRACE

“For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ”

    John 1:17 (ESV)

The grace of God is not one of the teachings or doctrines of our faith. The grace of God is the very core of our faith.

For many, grace is only a doctrine; and to others, grace is only a person.

Grace is a doctrine, a person and an economy (or arrangements) of God’s Kingdom.

The grace of God is the reality of God. The grace of God is also the person of God and He’s Jesus.

We have seen Jesus as the embodiment of the Wisdom of God. However, He is also the person of the Grace of God.

Jesus as the Grace of God is the visible expression of how God dispenses Himself into man and the essence of the administration or economy of God’s Kingdom.

Thus, the grace of God is a quality of the Wisdom of God.

The fullness of God’s grace was revealed as Jesus.

“And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, [the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and truth (absolutely free of deception).” John 1:14 (Amplified).

The glory of Jesus is the fullness of grace and truth.

This is why no one should think there is the message of Grace and there is the message of Jesus. The gospel of Grace is the revelation of Jesus.

You cannot separate the grace of God from Jesus. You cannot experience the grace of God without Jesus.

As many that receive Christ have received the fullness of Grace and Truth (John 1:12).

The grace of God is not a list or a body of rules God is demanding that you obey. The grace of God is the supply of God’s life into you for your living.

Grace is God dispensing Himself into you as your life and inward disposition.

Moses descended from Mount Sinai with the law given to him. The law had demands that which man couldn’t keep.

God now came in the flesh through Jesus as the grace of God to become our life.

Now by the grace of God in you through Christ, you have the supply of God to walk in obedience as an expression of God’s life.

Beloved Jesus is the portrait of God’s grace.

    Glory to God.
