THE BEST COMES OUT OF YOU

“Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!”

    John 7:38 (TPT)

To be born again is to receive the divine life and to be a partaker of God’s nature.

At the New birth, God indwell you through the Spirit. To have God in you means you are enriched with glory.

This then means that anyone in Christ must not assume they are empty or void of glory.

Some people in Christ don’t walk in the consciousness of what Christ has produced in them. They judge and measure the value of their lives by their outward circumstances.

They judge themselves by some characteristics they used to exude before they got born again.

For example, one will claim that “She has temper issues and lacks patience.”

But how can you lack patience when the endless love of God has cascaded into your hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in you!

To have the Holy Spirit in you is to have the capacity to express God.

To have the Holy Spirit in you means you cannot be void and worthless.
In Genesis 1:2, it was clear that the earth was without form and was void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. However, the moment there was the presence of the Spirit of God upon the face of the waters. The word of God brought forth light amidst this dark situation.

It doesn’t matter how badly your character has been; when you have the Holy Spirit in you, His character saturates your being and gives you the capacity to express His quality.

From the opening verse, we see Jesus making a profound statement:

He said, When you believe in Him, rivers of living water will burst out from within you. This speaks of the Holy Spirit in you. Flowing from your innermost being is the refreshing substance of the Spirit.

Wastage doesn’t come out of you. Dead things don’t come out of you.

The only thing which comes out of you is that which is full of life and living.

Live and walk daily in the consciousness of the quality of the Holy Spirit in you.

No matter how bad or worse you have been in the past, the Holy Spirit in you causes you to express the best of God.

    This is your reality.

    DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS

“There is nothing in us that allows us to claim that we are capable of doing this work. The capacity we have comes from God”.

    2 Corinthians 3:5 (GNT)

There is no divine assignment which doesn’t require divine capacity, no matter how little it may seem.

If it is of God, then it is great!

See what David said when he was preparing materials for building the temple.

“And King David said to all the assembly, “My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is still young and inexperienced and the work is great; for the temple is not for man but for the Lord God.“ 1 Chronicles 29:1 (Amplified)

Now, after all the materials needed were supplied for the building, David now unveiled how:

“Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name. “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your own hand we have given to You… O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy Name, it is from Your hand, and is all Your own.” 1 Chronicles 29:13-14,16. (Amplified).

It will always take God Himself to partner with you to do what He inspires or assigns you to do.

To have Christ in you is to have God’s partnership for any good work.

The spiritual capacity of God in you transcends your physical abilities.

The spiritual capacity is not only the ability to contain, but also God’s supply of ability within you to produce.

The Apostles acknowledged that all that they did was according to certain capacities. However, those capacities were supplied by God. (2 Corinthians 3:5 (GNT).

The Greek word for Capacity is “hikanotés”, it also means sufficiency, competence, ability, power, qualification, or fitness.

Though the capacity to do great things for God is supplied by the unlimited power of God, we have the responsibility to consistently increase in the capacity of God’s supplies.

Until you decide to take advantage of the unlimited supply of God within you to increase your spiritual capacity, you will not see unlimited results.

Every Kingdom’s achievement is greatly backed by divine capacity.

    Greatness responds to great capacity.

Your level of capacity will determine the size of the city or sphere you can take.

To increase Spiritual capacity is to be a consistent follower of Jesus.

The Lord teaches and trains you through certain men He has set in the Church. These men equip the saints for the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-12)

You also build capacity through intense focus on God’s work and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Focus gives direction to divine energies. Whatever has your attention attracts the resources of God within you.

    Don’t scatter divine resources, FOCUS!

And the more you fellowship with the Lord, the more you submit to Him for great help and supply.

You must also have the habit of praying in the Holy Spirit. As you pray in the spirit and meditate on the Word, you also build up yourself in faith and increase your inner capacity (Jude 1:20).

God has made you for big things; don’t settle for less, therefore, increase in capacity.

    Are you imbuing focus?

Are you meditating on the word?

Are you fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit?

How consistently do you speak in tongues?

Beloved, enlarge your tents, lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. The season of great results and harvest is here!

    HE IS YOUR STRENGTH

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

    Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

To have the strength of God, you must turn to Him and receive Him as life.
To have the Holy Spirit in you is to have the supply-center of strength in you.
The Holy Spirit dispenses and distributes all of the virtues of God into you.

“O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.” Isaiah 40:9-10 (KJV)

The Prophet Isaiah explains the extensiveness and limitlessness of the strength of God (Isaiah 40:12-28).

Now, you see in verses 29 – 31, the Prophet Isaiah explains how God supplies strength to those who are His.

Because God’s strength doesn’t faint, those who faint are strengthened by Him.

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31 (KJV)

The phrase, “even the youth shall faint”, is a depiction of how the strongest shall faint even in their prime. The youthful season is the prime season of every natural thing.

It is normal to faint in old age. It may even seem normal to grow weak after you have been pressed by challenges. It may seem normal to grow tired and become exhausted.
Yet the testimony of those who WAIT upon the Lord is different. Those who WAIT upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
Now the Lord gives power to the faint and causes strength and ability to abound towards those who lack might.

It doesn’t matter how the vicissitudes have beaten you up and crushed you; the moment you turn and open up to the LORD, strength is dispensed and distributed to you.

You cannot find divine strength outside God. To have divine strength, you must have God.
As a believer in Christ, you have the advantage; God lives in you, therefore His strength is inside you.
You can accomplish more with the strength of God when it is RENEWED. To RENEW the strength of God, you must learn to WAIT UPON THE LORD.
To wait upon the Lord is not just an imagery of a “Waiter” in a restaurant. The word WAIT is from the Hebrew word, “qâvâh . The primitive root for “qâvâh” means “TO BIND TOGETHER”.

To wait upon the Lord means to look patiently to the Lord, to expect and to be tied to the Lord. It means you are knitted and plaited with and to the LORD.

Jesus said, “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.” John 15:5 (TPT)

Inasmuch as it is good to be a tree, it is far greater and better to be a branch. The strength and fruitfulness of a branch are dependent on the tree. You must be knitted to the Lord as a fruitful branch is to a great tree.

Don’t be separated and be distracted or moved away from the Lord.
The more you remain in the Lord, the more you are renewed in strength.

And the more you expose your heart to these thoughts, the more they become the impressions of your emotions. And the more you exercise or give yourself to certain passions the more they rule and drive your reactions.

This is why God is interested in the focus of your emotions or your heart’s delight.

The more you meditate on the love of God and cultivate your heart to express that love, the more it dominates your passions.

The reason most people are quick to spend time watching a Hollywood movie, Bollywood movie or an African movie is how they have trained the desires of their heart.

The more you give your time and attention to something the more you create deep cravings for it in your heart.

This is why when you have to pray, there is always a fight within your entire being. Deep within your spirit, there is the prompting to pray. Your mind is aware of the benefits of prayer, yet your will is struggling between the craving of your flesh and the prompting of your spirit.

It will amaze you to know that the craving of your flesh travels through the impressions of your emotions. Your flesh uses the force of the desires hewn from your emotions to influence your actions.

WE HEARD THE SPIRIT INTO US

“This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”

    Galatians 3:2 (KJV)

There are people who have lived their entire lives feeling worthless, irrespective of the success they’ve achieved, because they grew up hearing words of defeat and doubt.

These people lived trying to impress others without the consciousness of their worth.

Words carry the ability to control and influence your entire existence.

Remember, God created the earth by words. He spoke the universe into being. There is nothing God created without first making a creative utterance. Though He formed man, before He made man, He spoke words.

” And God said, Let us make man in our image…” Genesis 1:26 (KJV)

Thoughts and spoken words shape or ruin destinies.

Many have not been able to fulfill their purpose because of the words they heard.

Many others have also found their purpose and walked into glorious manifestation because of the right words they heard.

    Words are spiritual.

Jesus said, “…And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” (John 6:63)

Which means the more you interact with the words of Jesus, the more you are saturated with the Spirit and life of His words.

There are people who want to grow deeper in communion with the Holy Spirit and yet don’t have much engagement with the glorious gospel of Jesus.

The words of Jesus are the articulation of faith.

The more you hear words of faith, the more your heart is enriched with the impartations of the Holy Spirit.

Paul speaking to the brethren in Galatia established that they did not receive the Spirit as a reward for keeping all the Jewish laws. Instead, they received the Spirit as a gift through the HEARING OF FAITH. As they heard and believed the message of faith, they were able to receive the Spirit.

The message of faith imparts to you with the ability of the Spirit. This is because they are the words of the Spirit of the Lord.

This is why you have to give attention to the scriptures and materials such as Photizo (Compendium of Eternal Verities) and the rich writings on this platform.

They are able to shape your thoughts and cause your heart to be influenced by the power of the Holy Spirit.

People have read these materials and have practically been liberated from several bondages. Some have been made free from negative addiction, suicide, depression, condemnation or sin consciousness, envy, hatred, bitterness, etc.

At the hearing of the revelation of Jesus, you hear into you, the Spirit of Wisdom, the Spirit of Excellence, the Spirit of Counsel, the Spirit of Boldness, the Spirit of Faith, and the Power of the Spirit.

Don’t give your heart to the hearing of negative words. These words are possessed by the Spirit of fear, condemnation, lust, greediness and envy.

Be soaked with the presence of the Holy Spirit as you set your heart on the hearing of faith!

    PRAYER CHANGES YOU

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”

    Ephesians 6:18 (KJV)

    Are you persevering in prayer?

Or do you already seem to be tired of prayer?

Apart from the reality that we pray for God’s answers, the benefits of prayer are not limited to God answering our requests.

One of the most transcending benefits of prayer is that it changes you.

The more you persevere in prayer, the more you develop and intensify your connection with God. The more your connection with God strengthens, the more you are changed and transformed.

“About eight days later Jesus took Peter, John, and James up on a mountain to pray. And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was transformed, and his clothes became dazzling white. Suddenly, two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared and began talking with Jesus. They were glorious to see. And they were speaking about his exodus from this world, which was about to be fulfilled in Jerusalem.” Luke 9:28-31 (NLT)

    Precious one, PRAYER CHANGES YOU!

The glory of God in you is revealed as you spend time in prayer.

Your consistent prayer life is a threat to the devil. The devil is more scared of what prayer will do to you than the answers you will receive.

Sometimes you get discouraged when it seems the answers are delayed. But that discouragement is an arrow of the adversary.

When you feel discouraged to pray, that is when you must persevere more in prayer!

To persevere in prayer is to endure patiently in prayer. You don’t have to rush out of the place of prayer; neither do you have to become impatient through the process of prayer.

As you endure patiently in prayer and the transforming process of prayer, you increase in spiritual capacity.

The best answer to prayer is the impartation you receive from the place of prayer. The longer you stay in prayer, the stronger the impartation of the Holy Spirit.

Perseverance enables you to build character.

“And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.” Romans 5:4 (NLT)

The only way to be prayerful is to continue in prayer daily.
