The believer in Christ doesn’t first need material blessings as their satisfaction. The believer in Christ has the Lord as their inheritance and satisfaction. To have the Lord is to have all things because all things are His. Beloved you are a ROYAL PRIEST, and you have the LORD AS YOUR SPECIAL POSSESSION. Oh Hallelujah!

WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR FAITH?

“Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions”

    Hebrews 11:33 (KJV)

Have you thought of the greatest achievement of faith?

Through scriptures, we see people experience great healings and miracles by faith.

These personal miracles and healings are not necessarily the greatest accomplishments of faith. Am I saying this to undermine these results of faith?

    Not at all.

    The scriptures are clear:

“The just shall live by faith!”

Which means the entirety of our lives must be an expression of faith.

Nevertheless, the accomplishment of our lives (which is by faith) shouldn’t be limited to our personal needs and experiences. The accomplishment of our faith must be the great things the Lord wants us to achieve.

Your faith shouldn’t be reduced to excelling in exams, getting a job, buying things, or satisfying other personal interests. It must be focused on achieving great things for the Lord.
The greatest thing you can do with your faith is to serve the Lord’s great purpose.
At the end of all things, this shall be the greatest day in the history of the universe and all eternities:

“Then the seventh angel sounded [his trumpet]; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom (dominion, rule) of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever” Revelation 11:15 (Amplified Bible).

Though Christ has been made the head of all things in essence (Ephesians 1:22), in the dispensation of the consummation of time, all things, all nations and Kingdoms shall be fully subdued and engrafted into the GLORIOUS REIGN OF CHRIST.

This is the great agenda of the Lord. And you must be involved.

This must be the ultimate engagement of your faith.

Even the heroes of faith made it their mandate to subdue Kingdoms by faith.

“Through faith they subdued Kingdoms, wrought righteousness and shut the mouth of lions.”

What are you doing with your faith?

GET INTO THE BUSINESS OF SUBDUING KINGDOMS!

Understand that all kingdoms are aggregated and governed by the hearts of men.

To fully subdue Kingdoms is to subdue every heart for Christ. And this requires GREAT FAITH.
Unleash your faith to conquer hearts in your immediate sphere for Jesus.
Many more hearts must be taken for Jesus. And God wants to work with you.

YOU CAN HAVE GREAT FAITH 2

“When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.”

    Matthew 8:10 (KJV)

Though there are different levels or dimensions of faith, there are also different kinds of faith.

One of them is to have “GREAT FAITH“.
To have great faith is determined by how you act and function in the revelation of Jesus.
There are only two instances where FAITH was described as GREAT by Jesus. They were seen in two none Jews: A Roman centurion and a Canaanite.
    (Matthew 8:10, Luke 7:9 and Matthew 15:28).

In all the two scenarios, the people involved broke certain walls of limitation to demonstrate great faith.

In places where Jesus may not have expected faith, He found great faith.

From the opening verse, you will see how Jesus marvelled at the Faith of the Roman Centurion. That wasn’t the only time Jesus marvelled; He also marvelled at how He found no faith in His own people of Nazareth.

To marvel is from the Greek word “thaumazō“. Which means to admire, to be astonished or to stand amazed. It also means to step back and say “Wow!“.

In a situation or place where Jesus thought there should be great faith, He witnessed a great level of faithlessness. He stepped back and was negatively “wowed” or dumbfounded.
Faith is of great concern to the Lord. Wherever great faith is found, there is the manifestation of great power.
From the previous discussion, I began to outline a few items needed to exercise great faith.

The first item is to demonstrate a great level of reverence and humility towards GOD.

Sometimes, we are tempted to subtly boast more of our rights in Christ instead of the Lord who gave us those rights. We enjoy great results of faith not only because of who we are but mainly because of who He is.
Our faith shouldn’t be in who we are but first who He is. We are what we are because of Jesus. And at all times, we have to submit to Him first.
Look at how the Roman Centurion demonstrated great faith.

“And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.Matthew 8:5-10 (KJV

Despite the credentials of this Roman centurion, His humility before the Lord was overwhelming.

Beloved, to be counted worthy of the Lord’s presence in your life, or to have right standing with God without any sense of guilt by Christ Jesus, is a great privilege.
Learn to acknowledge the sure mercies and grace of God.
Just because you are now a son of God, a brother of Jesus, and have a mingled life with Christ doesn’t mean you are also a master on your own.

He says, “Without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).

Jesus is your MASTER. The more you see Him as your Master, the more you submit to Him, and your faith finds genuine expressions through Him.
Remember, pride is the greatest limitation of Faith.
Secondly, the Roman Centurion ACKNOWLEDGED THE AUTHORITY OF JESUS

Not only did he humble himself and show how he revered the Lord, but He also acknowledged the greatness of Jesus’ power and authority.

    Beloved, understanding is everything!
Your life will always be governed by your level of light.
His understanding of authority made him know how he can get results. He knew the health condition of his servant was caused by a great spiritual force, and to deal with that condition, he needed greater authority and force.
The centurion couldn’t think there was any authority greater than that of Jesus. All Jesus had to do for him was to speak a word.
Great faith acknowledges the power and authority of Jesus.
Are you sure there is a situation in your life which is above the authority of Jesus?

Great faith cannot doubt the power and authority of Jesus, no matter the situation.

    Selah.

    WE PRAY
    – That our minds will be established in the consciousness of the universal power and the authority of Jesus.

    – That in all matters we will acknowledge and esteem the authority of Jesus.
    In the name of Jesus.

    – Pray to address any challenge, by declaring the solution you want to see as you stand in the revelation of the power and authority of Jesus and His name.

YOU CAN HAVE GREAT FAITH 1

“When Jesus heard it, he marvelled and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

    Matthew 8:10 (KJV)

Having understood that each new creation in Christ has faith, every new creation has the capacity to achieve faith results.
There is no God-kind of results without faith.
Also, the faith of God within you is not just for seasonal showmanship. The faith of God is not just for moments when you need urgent results or a testimony. Your entire life is lived by faith. Faith is the law of life at work in you as you have come into the new living way in Christ.
The faith of God within you can be nurtured. You grow in faith as you continue to practice, function and act according to the revelation of Jesus.
Let me explain this to you:

Jesus is the object or the embodiment of our Faith. Faith is authored and completed in Him. (Hebrews 12:2). This is called the “Objective faith”

As we have discussed, faith was infused and sown into your heart through the ministry of the Word. (Romans 10:17). The faith sown into you creates an inward response that becomes a personal faith. This is also referred to as “Subjective faith“. This subjective or personal faith is built by the consistent revelation of the word of God in your heart. You don’t grow the objective faith; instead, you grow and increase in the objective faith. Your growth and increase in the objective faith is called growing your faith. As you grow in faith, your personal faith increases.

All through the scriptures, there are only two places (specifically in the New Testament portion of the Bible) where God MARVELLED.

    Both were connected to FAITH.

Interestingly, there are only two scenarios where Jesus referred to the faith of certain persons as GREAT.

Exercising yourself in FAITH is so essential to God. If Jesus, by whom this beautiful, jaw-dropping and astonishing universe was made, could still MARVEL at something, then that matter is worth our interest and meditation.

Jesus didn’t marvel at the great miracles He did. Though, all the people marvelled and were astonished by His great miraculous deeds and depths of wisdom in His utterances. Jesus was not marvelled once by this complex universe and constellations.

Instead, the great faith of the Roman centurion (Matthew 8:10) and the faithlessness of His own people in Nazareth marvelled Him (Mark 6:6).

It was matters concerning FAITH that made Jesus marvel.
Faith is not an option in God. It is the REAL DEAL. Live by faith!
No wonder the scripture says without faith, it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6).

This is how GREAT FAITH works:

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. Matthew 8:5-10 (KJV

Sincerely, it is amazing to know that Jesus was not marvelled positively by the great Jewish scholars or Rabbi and leaders. He was marvelled by a Gentile, who also is a Roman centurion.

There are a few key items that will help you understand how to exercise GREAT FAITH.

Firstly, The great level of reverence and humility demonstrated by the Centurion.

During classical antiquity, a centurion in the Roman army was a commander of 100 legionary military units. They defended and exercised control in Roman territories. They uphold the authority of Rome and don’t bow to anyone except Rome.

Yet, He called Jesus Lord, which means MASTER. Do you know what it means for a Roman Centurion to call a Jew MASTER?

It means this Centurion had caught a great revelation of who Jesus is.

Great faith is not confidence in the self or what you know. It is not found in who you think you are without God. It is not your confidence in the position or rank in government or a great organization. Neither is it found in the money in your account nor the number of hours you pray in tongues (though it is worth it).
The greatest limitation of faith is pride.
Exercising great faith always begins with having reverence for God and submitting to Him.

    Hallelujah!
