    RUN IN HIS COMMAND

“I run in the path of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart.”

    Psalm 119:32 (Berean Standard Bible).

At the beginning of this New Year, the word of the Lord came to you.

This word of the Lord to you is God’s direction for your life and instructions for your future.
It is important to give it your focus and commit your mind to it.
Within the Christ Commonwealth Community, Global (Love-Life Agency), the Lord has given us a word which is the focus of our Personal lives and Corporate expression.

Our year 2024 is the year of:

    KINGDOM REFULGENCE

    – It is our year of Kingdom SHINING and SPREADING.

    – The year of Kingdom raptness, ambience and expressions.

This is the commandment of the Lord to you.

It is one thing to receive the Word of the Lord, it is another thing to run with the Word of the Lord.

Every Word of the Lord to you has its established path. The more you walk in the direction or path of the Word, the more your understanding is deepened and enlarged.
The path of the Word includes the instruction of the Word.
The path of the Word is what brings you into the fulfilment of the Word.

By the Word of the Lord to you for the year, you know you have to change your prayer habit, establish better associations and avoid wrong ones.

The instruction of the Word also came with an inspiration to give yourself to reading some materials and work towards some daily ministry targets.
You have to esteem those instructions and run by them.
This is a blessed new year and great grace abounds towards you.

    Shalom!

EPISODE 247 – YOU ARE HEALED BY HIS STRIPES

YOU ARE HEALED BY HIS STRIPES

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

    Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV)

The death of Jesus and the punishment He went through, dealt with the spiritual problem, which is sin. However, sin did not only enter the world, it came with with its consequences.

One of the consequences or effects of sin is SICKNESS.

There are some who think it is wrong to use the phrase “By his stripes we are healed” to address physical healing. According to them, this phrase is only addressing spiritual healing.

The Hebrew word used in Isaiah 53:5, râphâh means to mend (by stitching that is (figuratively) to cure; it means to cause to heal {by physician} or repair {thoroughly} to make whole.

The Prophet Isaiah was not only referring to the spiritual condition of sin which Jesus dealt with through His death, he was also speaking of how the scourging of Jesus’ body dealt with the infirmities of the body (which are consequences of sin).

The legal testimony of your physical healing is the stripes of Jesus and the authority of His name.

The disciples of Jesus did not only see the phrase, “By His stripes we are healed” as spiritual healing. They also saw it as the provision of our physical healing through Jesus.

“When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took on our infirmities and carried our diseases” Matthew 8:16-17 (BSB)

Matthews Gospel was reasonably written between AD 55 and AD 60, this was either 22years or 27 years after the death of Jesus.

Therefore his testimony of the fulfillment of Isaiah 53:5 in Matthew 8:17, is to help his readers understand also the physical impact of Jesus’ death.

Our Lord was beaten and scourged with a Roman whip also called the “flagellum”. It is made of two or three leather (ox-hide) thongs or ropes knotted with a number of small pieces of metal, usually zinc and iron, attached at various intervals. To be scourged by this flagellum would quickly remove the skin and tear the flesh.

Our Lord Jesus suffered this not only for your spiritual sin, but also to bear and take away your physical infirmities.

This means because He has suffered for your sins, He will not deny you healing because of your wrongs and sinful deeds.

As He has suffered for your sins, He has also suffered for your infirmities.

This should let you know that, God will not use sickness and diseases to correct you of your wrongs. He has borne your (spiritual and physical) infirmities.

What is the challenge in your body?

Which infirmity has afflicted your flesh?

Take God’s word concerning your health!

Stand on it to exercise your faith.

By His stripes you are healed!

If you have any challenge in your body, RECEIVE YOUR HEALING NOW!

Be it infirmity in your kidney, lungs, intestines, stomach, eyes, bones and joints, heart, head, brain, or any other part of your body, YOU ARE HEALED whiles reading.

    Celebrate your testimony NOW.

    Hallelujah

    ARE YOU GROWING? 5

GOD HAS MADE PROVISIONS FOR YOUR GROWTH

“Instead, by speaking the truth in a spirit of love, we must grow up in every way to Christ, who is the head.

    Ephesians 4:15 (GNT)

For some days now, we have been looking into the matter of your growth or maturity in Christ.

It is imperative to give attention to this subject because it makes all the difference in your fulfilment of purpose.

There are things you cannot achieve in Christ until you grow.
Our heavenly Father is interested in your growth and maturity, thus, He has made every provision for you to grow spiritually.
He didn’t just give you His word, He granted you access (Ephesians 2:18) for you to commune with Him (through prayer and fellowship with the Holy Spirit). He planted you in His Church for you to be nurtured and gave you gifted men to equip you.

See how the apostle puts it:

“And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit]. But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ.”
    Ephesians 4:11-15 (Amplified)

From the above verses we see the organic assignment of the gifted men. God’s intention for these gifted men (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers) is to:

    1. Fully equip and perfect the saints for service (or the work of the ministry).

To equip and perfect the saints, furnishes them with the necessary spiritual tools and dexterous skills and mastery for service.

    2.  To build up the body of Christ [the church].

Your growth and maturity contributes to the building up of the body of Christ. Which means, your immaturity can be a deficiency in the body.

These gifted men equip and perfect the saints to build up the body until:

     3. We all reach oneness in the faith.

     4. We all reach oneness in the knowledge of the Son of God.

    5. Growing spiritually to become a mature believer.

    6. Reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness]

    7. Exercising our spiritual gifts in unity.

    8. As we step into these above reality of our growth in the spirit or maturity; WE ARE NO LONGER CHILDREN [SPIRITUALLY IMMATURE].
The spiritually immature are tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine.
When you are not maturing or growing spiritually you become a victim of:

    – every cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men.

     – deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit].

However from these verses we see  again the the matter of LOVE.

Instead, by speaking the truth in a spirit of love, we must grow up in every way to Christ, who is the head. Ephesians 4:15 (GNT)

We grow up into Christ by LOVE. And the reality is, apart from love there is no other way you can genuinely grow up into Christ.
Your growth is not into your self or personal desires. Your growth is into Christ; who is the ultimate example of love.
Our Heavenly Father has made these provisions of gifted men to bring us to the place of MATURING INTO CHRIST in the perfection of His Love.

Submitting to the training of the gifted men God has given you in your “local Church” is your reception and enjoyment of God’s provision for your growth in the spirit.

  • EPISODE 219 – ARE YOU PLEASING GOD OR MEN?

EPISODE 219 – ARE YOU PLEASING GOD OR MEN?

    CHRIST COMMONWEALTH-COMMUNITY

    The Love-Life Agency

ARE YOU PLEASING GOD OR MEN?

“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10 (KJV)

Let me first make this clear, men are important in everyone’s success. Nobody rises or does something great without committed and loyal people.

There are people who act as though they don’t need any man to help them. That is a mere assumption.

Everyone will need help from a man. Have genuine love and respect for people.

However, in the fulfillment of God’s plans and purposes, you don’t run your race to please men.

You don’t labour to prove others wrong. Labour with the Lord to fulfill the purpose of His will.

Pleasing the Lord should be the focus of your heart.

“But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts” 1 Thessalonians 2:4 (KJV)

Your life and ministry should not be directed by what others are doing.

Do what God has called you to do. You can be inspired by what others do. However, you must do what you do not to impress anyone. You do what you do because God has inspired and affirmed that you do it.

What has God called you to do? Where has God called you to be?

    Beloved take heed!

“Tell Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.” Colossians 4:17

What is the Lord inspiring you to do?

Are those ideas derived from your sense of competition with the brethren or what God is telling you to do?

Or you are taking steps simply because your colleague ministers and friends are doing the same?

Let no man force you or threaten you into doing things the Lord has not instructed you to do.

Let no man lure you to go where God has not called you to go.

I remember, two years ago, I received some invitations to minister in some cities outside Africa, and this minister inviting me was part of a certain ministerial circle where they invite each other to programs and travel all around, sharing platforms.

I asked why I should join his circle of friends, why I should host him. He only spoke of the importance of traveling as a minister and places he has travelled to. Sent me pictures, and even asked me to visit his Facebook page. Which I did, but didn’t experience ministry. I only saw his pictures with ‘great’ men of God. He was ready to send me the invite, afterwards, I will also host him.

Thank God I have a strong word and instruction within me:

It is not how far you travel around the world.
It is how deep you grow in the Lord.

At a point, it looked like I wasn’t daring enough. It looked like I was missing out on an open door and I was not ambitious enough.

“Cease ye from man, whose breath [is] in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?”
    Isaiah 2:22

Yes it’s good to run… It’s good to do big things, YET WE RUN IN PATIENCE!

The fear of men shouldn’t influence your decisions in life.
The fear of men is a snare. Put your trust in the Lord. (Proverbs 29:25)

You can be encouraged by the good works of other brethren.
Be provoked unto good works ordained by God not selfish desires.

Be inspired and directed by the Spirit!

    Spend time in prayer…
    Handle instructions from the Lord.

Don’t be influenced merely by social media influencers.
Don’t try to be like everybody. Don’t try to fit into the society.

Obey the Lord not the trends.

“Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men” Acts 5:29

Don’t be scared of the outcome of your commitment to what the Lord has instructed you to do.

“Faithful is he who has called you; it is he who shall perform it” 1 Thessalonians 5:24

    Don’t compromise!

    BE INSPIRED BY THE LORD!
