    THE ETHEREAL TRANQUIL

” Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 (NKJV)

The Kingdom of God is revealed as Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit.
I have previously explained the crucial essence of JOY.
Today, we look into another climacteric reality in our walk with God.
There were rich things the Lord disclosed in the period between His resurrection and ascension.
    One of them is PEACE!
    There are two key words which denotes PEACE in the scriptures;
    a. SHALOM in Hebrew
    b. EIRĒNĒ (pronounced eye-RAH-nay) in Greek.
There is some difference between these two shalom and eirene.
The word SHALOM is extensive and intense than EIRĒNĒ.
In most cases if not all, the word EIRĒNĒ (PEACE) in the new testament was used with the Jewish understanding of PEACE (SHALOM).

EIRĒNĒ in Greek/Septuagint is from a primary verb eirō which means to join (see Strongs Bible Concordance). It speaks of the harmonious relationships between men, nations and friendliness. It also denotes, freedom from molestation, law and order which brings blessings, living quietly, the sense of contentment and the harmonized relationship between God and man accomplished through the gospel. (See Vine’s expository Dictionary).
However, as I have aforementioned, SHALOM is intense and extensive.
Shalom primarily signifies WHOLENESS. It also means to be unhewn, full, fully furnished and made perfect. It is also rendered as “sōtēria, which means salvation.
Shalom is a state with total well-being, prosperity, flourishing, inward and outward tranquility as its fringes.
This is why most expressions as PEACE by the Jesus and the New Testament saints was with the JEWISH Concept of PEACE
Therefore when a Jew greets you, SHALOM, it is not “Hello”, it is a BLESSING of wholeness, peace, and complete prosperity in your day.
When you truly come to understand the meaning of SHALOM, you will not take any speaking of SHALOM as a mere declaration. It is a rich prophetic blessing which must be embraced in great faith and joy.
There is a Peace the world attempts to give, yet its boundary is another man’s selfish desire.
However, in Christ Jesus we have access to enjoy the full manifestation of peace SHALOM.
From the Amplified Bible, John 14:17, is well presented.

“Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]

Jesus left you peace. He gave you HIS PEACE. This peace is the ethereal quality and a state of transcendent tranquility.
It epitomizes all perfection in essence and expression.
He is the only one that dispenses this peace because He is the PRINCE OF PEACE (Isaiah 9:6). He doesn’t outsource it, He is the source of it.
The Prophet Isaiah revealed how we tap and drink of this SHALOM:

” You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV)

The expression, PERFECT PEACE denotes SHALOM SHALOM.
You have abundant and immeasurable satisfaction of wholeness, perfection, prosperity, ethereal tranquility when your frame of imagination, conception, and thoughts are fastened on the Lord.
Beloved set your mind and affection on the Lord.
For His Perfect Peace will calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.
    SHALOM!
    DIG DEEPER:
    (Psalm 119:165; Isaiah 26:12; Philippians 4:7; John 20:21; Colossians 3:15; John 16:33; Numbers 6:26 )

    WE PRAY
    – That we will set our minds and affections on the Lord to receive courage and strength for every obstacle.

    BIBLE READING
    Day 91: 1 Samuel 15-17

    DECLARE THESE WORDS:
    – I have inward and outward tranquility.
    – I flourish in all things.
    – Whatever I do, prospers.
    – The perfect peace of God calms me in every circumstance.
    – I refuse to be agitated no matter the challenge because I enjoy perfect peace.
    – I am sound all round.
    – I enjoy the blessing of wholeness everyday.
    OH Hallelujah, GLORY TO GOD!!!
