Many lives will not be impacted or transformed when you keep doubting yourself and what God has called you to do. It is not how you feel about yourself, it is what God says about you. Selah.

THE FIRST PROFOUND QUESTION –
WHERE ARE YOU? 3
“Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
Genesis 3:8 (NLT)
Remember this, anything God says is pregnant with the revelation of His person, wisdom, mindset and character.
The question “where are you?” reveals:
– the heartbeat of God for man. He is genuinely interested in the well-being of man.
– God as the Good Shepherd-King. Who leads His sheep to the place where they have to be.
“For this is what the Lord God says ‘Behold, I Myself will search for My flock and seek them out.” (Ezekiel 34:11).
As I explained in the previous episode, God manifested in flesh to consummate His work as a Good Shepherd to reconcile man to Himself once and for all.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10).
The Lord takes care of His sheep and saves them to the uttermost.
The question “Where are you?” asked by God is rich and deep.
After the death of Abel, the Lord asked his brother Cain a similar question, and Cain’s answer unveiled another rich truth about God.
“And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?” Genesis 4:9 (KJV)
This time, God was not asking about Cain.
The Lord was asking about Abel from Cain. Though Cain’s answer seemed to be “cheeky”, he was establishing a reality.
To ask God, is he his brother’s keeper, meant that someone else was the brother’s keeper.
It also means anyone who is interested in or aware of the whereabouts of another is a keeper.
Cain didn’t think he was the one to be held accountable for the whereabouts of his brother because he is not his brother’s keeper. Cain denied the responsibility of being a keeper.
Beloved, God is the Keeper who will never forsake you.

When God asked Adam, “Where are you?” He was also revealing the reality of Himself as a Keeper.
The word used for keeper in Genesis 4:9 is the Hebrew word, “shâmar”, which means to hedge about (as with {thorns}), that is guard; generally to protect, preserve and to function as a watchman.
It’s the same word the Psalmist used:
“The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.” Psalm 121:5 (KJV)
Beloved, the Lord is interested in your well-being; thus, He wants you to be where He has designed you to be. As your Keeper, He is interested in where you are spiritually, mentally and physically.
This is why through Christ, He has delivered you from the power of darkness and conveyed you into the Kingdom of His dear Son. He has faithfully brought you into the eternal fellowship of His Son, Jesus.
You are kept and preserved permanently in His vineyard.
He is the Keeper who never sleeps nor slumbers. Trust in Him and enjoy His tender care and preservation.
Shalom.
