DARE TO BE COURAGEOUS
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go”
Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)
Whatever God tells you to do will take Faith. It is by faith we live and walk with God.
Faith is our reality.
The things we need to do by faith will always take faith for us to do them.
Anything that brings glory to God must be done in faith. (It is impossible to please God without faith).
Faith is an unflinching confidence in who God is and what He has said. It is knowing without any tittle of doubt that the Lord is with you and He will help you achieve what He has sent you to do. Faith is audacious in its dealings.
When you act in faith, courage is seen. This is why you must have the consciousness of the presence of the Lord in your life.
God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous. For that is an essential element to demonstrate greatness.
Serving others is greatness; however, it takes great faith and courage to serve your generation.
A person called to fulfill greatness and to serve His generation can live as a wuss.
Look at Gideon, a mighty man of valour, yet saw himself as the least in his father’s house and of the poorest or weakest family in Manasseh.
He had the potential to save the nation of Israel from the Midianites, but felt enervated.
Maybe you are reading this and feel you don’t have what it takes to do great things.
When you consider your family history, your experiences through school and even in your community, you can’t do anything great for the Lord.
Beloved, the LORD SEES YOU AS A MIGHTY MAN!!!
God specialises in doing the unimaginable. Faith thrives in impossible situations.
That is God. He will always use what seems depleted to reveal His glory.
He used a young man who was the least in his family and from the weakest clan to bring great victory in Israel.
He made mighty men out of men that were distressed, indebted, and discontented (1 Samuel 22:2).
Why must God use a young 17 years old David, with no military experience, to defeat Goliath with just a sling and a stone (1 Samuel 17:50-53)?
To feed five thousand people, He used a little boy’s lunch pack of five bread and two fish.
This is audacity!!!
God doesn’t choose the easy paths; He creates greatness out of what seems impossible.
To exercise the audacity of faith, learn to be with the Lord.
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.”
Acts 4:13 (ESV)
You cannot maintain consistent fellowship with the Lord Jesus and remain a coward.
You will not just serve the Lord and show how you love him during church meetings and in your room.
You will look for places to show forth His glory and power.
Take a daring step, knowing that the Lord is with you.
Until you take a step to do something great, you will not see the mighty hand of the Lord.
God is with you, dare to do the extraordinary!

Faith comes through meditating on God’s word and courage comes from staying with God.
When Gideon who felt He was the least person in Israel, God approached him and used Him. It has nothing to do with my status in society, God can use me to do mighty things if I will stay with more in His presence.

Doing the common things makes you look like a commoner even though within you are a mighty man.
God always works on man and refers to them based on what he has made them from inside. There is no task God will give a man that he hasn’t implanted the equal and even beyond ability within us
For a man to know his true potentials he must hear the word for faith comes and grows in a man as he continues to hear

So without fellowship no man can know his true self.
So first before the task he opens your eyes to the true. You so it is that picture you hold on to to execute all that God has told you to and not look away from it
