DON’T ISOLATE YOUR EMOTIONS
“Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart”.
Psalm 37:4 (NKJV)
Mostly when it comes to our relationship with God, the focus has always been on the “spirit of a man”. You hear people make statements like “To connect deeply to God, it is not about your emotions…”
Our relationship with God involves our entire being.
God wants you to be soaked and saturated in all of your being.
God didn’t design your emotions for earthly activities; He gave you emotions as tools to express His impressions.
The focus of your emotion or desire exposes the pleasure of your heart.
God is interested in the focus of your emotions or the delight of your heart. And you have to train your emotions or desires to be focused on the Lord.
Don’t isolate your emotions or desires from the Lord.
Delight yourself in the Lord!
David said, “Here’s the one thing I crave from God, the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to live my life so close to him that he takes pleasure in my every prayer.”
Until you also set your desire on the Lord, your fellowship will not be organic.
What you crave after is a deep-seated impression of your emotions.
Don’t disconnect your emotions or desires from the Lord.
In your communion with the Lord carry your emotions along.
Until your emotions consistently gravitate towards the Lord, you will not be wholly addicted to the fellowship of the Spirit.
There is no absolute immersion in the Spirit when the treasures of your desires are focused on the pleasures of this world.

God gave me emotions to be His expression in this world, in my fellowship with God, He does not just want my spirit, He wants my totality. He even wants my body to be soaked with His light.
My emotions are conduits by which I express my love towards the Lord. God desires to feel my emotions in my service to Him.
The bible says, fervent in Spirit, serving the Lord…
David said my soul thirsts for you, my heart yearns for you in a place where there is no water.
God delights in the pureness of our emotions to Him.

Emotions is a means to connect with God to feel what he feels and bare his heartbeat not to waste it on unnecessary relationships and Ties which do not bring progress to one’s life
A football team doesn’t deserve your attention it is not compulsory to be in one team if your team loses move to the winning team
If you don’t know why you have to be in a relationship don’t just enter for entering sake and waste your emotions which educates your experience wrongly that makes you formulate wrong theories that are based on sentiments
Rather connect with God and always have a great refreshing time in his presence
