IS CHRIST CONTESTING FOR YOUR REVERENCE?

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him” John 3:17 (ESV)

You don’t define God’s relationship with man with your head.
Your understanding of God’s relationship with man must be according to the heart of God.
God doesn’t define situations by how we feel, but according to His purpose and grace.
Since a lot of people have not experienced the truth of God’s love, they interpret the things of God with their selfish lenses.
For example, some people think that the death of Jesus is in contest for their reverence.
Jesus didn’t die for you because He wants you to revere Him by trembling before Him.
Listen, you cannot stand before God in the fullness of His glory and not revere Him.
His goal is not for your reverence, His goal is that you shall have His life and become His expression.
The idea that Jesus died for God to have many worshippers, is not really God’s goal.
Yes, when one beholds God’s love and glory, you can’t than to respond in worship. Worship is our response to who God is. It is not the demand of God.
Also God wants to have many sons. However, to be a son of God is essentially for the benefit of those who are adopted into sonship. You become an heir of God and enjoy God’s eternal inheritance. This is God rather sharing His life and glory with you.
Jesus didn’t die as sin on the cross to demand for your reverence. Though He deserves your reverence, He doesn’t demand for it.
His love is not saying “My dear if you don’t reverence me, I will strike you with sickness and diseases. Or I will take My Holy Spirit away from you.”
The loving expression of Christ is not in competition with and for your works and efforts. All you’ve got to do is to acknowledge and believe in His finished work, which was achieved through His death and resurrection.
Am I attempting to say, “it is not necessary to revere God?”
Far from it.
I want you to see the motive of God concerning you.
You are the focus of His love.
God esteems His plans and purposes because they are designed to benefit you in all eternity.
God is not looking for the opportunity to condemn you. He wants you to experience His love and saving grace.
In truth, when you come to appreciate His love, you will unforcefully and restfully reverence and express His Love.
SHALOM
DIG DEEPER:
(John 6:40; Ephesians 1:3-12; Luke 1:74-75; Philippians 2:12-13).

WE PRAY
That our motive of service and relationship with God will be according to His love and not the fear of condemnation.

BIBLE READING
Day 81: Judges 14-15

DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– God loves me.
– I relate with God in the light of His love.
– I don’t relate with God in fear.
– My reverence to God is not in fear and forcefulness but in the purity of His love and grace.
OH Hallelujah, GLORY TO GOD!!!

We'd love to connect with you!

To help you build a proper foundation of spiritual understanding.

Wow, praise be to God.

Indeed, the Most High God gave His life so that I wouldn’t have to limit my adoration to Him. It was instead intended for me to properly convey His life and grandeur.

In fact, worship has an unforced rhythm rather than a forceful one.

When we see God, we respond to Him in worship.

God does not demand that we worship Him in a certain way.

It is in fact God’s will for us to embrace Christ as our Savior in order to receive eternal life (life that lasts forever and ever).

and be promoted on the final day.

I have been bought with the blood of Christ, as I am in Christ Jesus.

In love, not in terror, we serve the Most High God.

From Samson And Delilah’s story
I have learnt that I should not exchange the great verities God has given me with fleeting pleasures of time.
It is very deadly, he lost two eyes because of that.
Amazingly, when he came back to God, the Lord restored his strength, although he judged Israel for 20 years, he killed more people in His death than during His lifetime.
