A GREAT SECRET TO MULTIPLY GRACE
“…God resists you when you are proud but multiplies grace and favor when you are humble.”
1 Peter 5:5 (TPT)
Paul the apostle was clear on this: “I am what I am by the grace of God.”
He knew he couldn’t achieve anything without the supply of God. Grace is God’s supply to you.

Jesus, as the embodiment of Grace, said, Without me you can do nothing.
The grace of God is essential for living out God’s purpose and fulfilling ministry.
Grace is the economy of God’s household. It is the substance of God’s dealings with men. While faith is the substance of our dealings with God.
Though every believer has access to the enjoyment of grace, it takes more than being born again to enjoy the multiplication of grace.
From the opening verse, you will see that pride is a hindrance to the multiplication of grace. God multiplies grace and favour to the humble.
Humility is one of the greatest secrets to the enjoyment of multiplied grace. It takes humility to submit to God’s supply.
To be proud towards God is to subtly esteem yourself above God’s graciousness.
Thus, the pride-filled person sets himself up as a resistance to the grace of God.

In his writing to the saints in Philippi, Paul the apostle addressed how satisfied he would be to see the brethren work together in love. However, the possibility of that togetherness is dependent on how they walk in humility.
Paul explained how one can exercise himself or herself in humility.
Please take a look at these scriptures:
“So I’m asking you, my friends, that you be joined together in perfect unity—with one heart, one passion, and united in one love. Walk together with one harmonious purpose and you will fill my heart with unbounded joy.
Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation” Philippians 2:2-5 (TPT)
Here are a few characteristics of the humble reading through the verses:
– The humble is compassionate.
– The humble lives under God’s Leadership.
– The humble surrenders to God.
– The humble knows how to communicate in love. He’s a master communicator.
– The humble is obedient.
– The humble has a thankful heart.
– The humble is wise and demonstrates wisdom by following the example of Jesus.
Walk in humility to unlock the supply of multiplied grace in your life.
Shalom!
Selah.
