WITNESSES BY THE SPIRIT
“But *you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you: and you shall be witnesses of me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in all Samaria, and into the uttermost part of the earth” Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
The Holy Spirit did not come to indwell us for our self gratification. He came to indwell us that we shall be witnesses of Christ.
When the Holy Spirit came into us at new birth, He dispensed His power into us.
The Holy Spirit Himself is the embodiment of God’s power. The Holy Spirit is in you with the immeasurable power of God.
Understand that, you do not fast and pray to receive power. You rather fast and pray to engage and express what you carry.
When you became born again, God was processed into you through the Holy Spirit. You received the Holy Spirit to be a witness.
You received the responsibility to bear witness of Christ when you received the Holy Spirit; this is because the Holy Spirit Himself is a witness of what God has achieved and produced through Christ (Romans 8:16).
We are not witnesses of weakness, defeat, failure or fear. We are witnesses of Christ. We are witnesses of the Supernatural, and we became this testimony because we have received the Holy Spirit.
A witness of Christ is one who has received God into Him. A witness of Christ is not a stranger to the Truth. A witness is a partaker of the Divine Life and of Christ’s death and His resurrection.
“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and our hands have handled, of the Word of Life.” – 1 John 1:1 (NKJV)
A witness of Christ witnesses what he has received. Hence, to be able to bear witness in the full capacity of the testimony of Christ; we must fully come to a place of understanding. We must understand what Christ did for us and achieved in us. We are to go out there and bear witness of the life we have fully comprehended.
The Holy Spirit is not a thing; He is a person. And as witnesses of Christ we have the Holy Spirit as a companion. In like manner, we are His companion. We are in fellowship with Him.
What makes that fellowship strong is a continual communication with Him.
This is how we stir up the passion of the Lord in our hearts.
As companions of the Holy Spirit we must deeply engage Him. The more we have fellowship with Him, the more we allow Him to flow through us.
We must commune with Him through consistent intense prayers. We must talk with Him.
He is our companion.
As witnesses we must always walk in the consciousness that the Holy Spirit is always with us.
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;” John 14:16 (KJV)
He will never leave you nor forsake you. He has never thought or dreamt of it. He is WITH YOU always and He is IN YOU always even till the end of the ages.

For the wisdom to utilise the enabling and quickening force of the Holy Spirit to bear witness of our Lord Jesus in all places.

– I have the Holy Spirit in me to bear witness of Christ.
– I am empowered to demonstrate Christ.
– I am a witness of Christ’s love, prosperity, goodness and peace.
– Many know and see the Lord through me by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Very deep insight..
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are sons of God. What a reality. I don’t witness fear, failure, defeat…. I witness Christ Jesus.
Thank you dear Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit in me bears witness of Christ.

I’m conscious of the ever presence of the Holy Spirit. As a witness he is with me till the end of age.

The gospel we preach is not of man but it is of God so it will last forever.
As witnesses we must always walk in the consciousness that the Holy Spirit is always with us.
