HIS LOVE COMPELS US
“With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.”
1 Corinthians 15:58 (The Message)
Why are we pushing beyond our comfort and self-interest, just to see lives saved and transformed, no matter the cost involved?
Are we wasting our time?
Certainly Not!!!
Don’t we have anything else to use our money for?
What is more worth our money than this?
What is more worth our time than this?
What is more worth our skill, intelligence, and resources than this?
Read the opening verse again:
“With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.”
1 Corinthians 15:58 (The Message)
God has been about this business since.
He desires that all men will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).
Our Lord first made a great sacrifice to get this to unfold.
“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” Philippians 2:6-8 (Amplified Bible).
Beloved, Jesus being fully God, He lowered Himself to become man and humbled Himself to suffer the death of the cross.
It wasn’t for nothing!
He sacrificed all He is and all that He’s got, just to die this death of shame for mankind. There must be something more important about His death for Him to leave all that glory to become man and to die for man.
It is this same thing that moved Jesus to the cross, which is moving us to do all we have to do according to the grace given to us.
We are not giving space for the adversary. This generation and beyond deserve our sacrifices.
How beautiful it is that young people like us will stand up for the course of Christ. This same ministry of God is our ministry today. (2 Corinthians 5:17-18).
Every single contribution is important and needful unto satisfying God’s dream.
We leave no stone unturned. We take advantage of this Holy Spirit-inspired and directed ability within us to set the divine course for many.
There are certain people; if we don’t step out, they won’t be reached out to, and the Lord will demand their blood from us.
“If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.” Ezekiel 3:18 (ESV)
We will not sit to watch a generation be destroyed.
Until YOU get involved, a particular soul will not be reached.
They can only hear to receive the Lord, only when you preach.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:13-14)
There are many more depending on our sacrifices, bold steps, relentless decisions, uncompromising choices, and unconditional Love of Christ.
The LOVE that moved Jesus to the cross is COMPELLING US TO REACH MANY UNSAVED.
The Love of Christ is compelling us!!!…
Don’t only preach, put your money into GOD’S AGENDA. God’s AGENDA will be financed through GOD’S OWN PEOPLE.
Be a faithful steward of God and partner in the spreading of the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
Pray also for the salvation of souls in your community, in your city, in your town, in your school, in your workplace, in your family, in your country and your continent and the whole world.
Don’t go on your knees in prayer only for your personal needs. You are a royal priest in Christ. Fulfil that priestly mandate.
We get the job done unto the Glory of God.
There is a great company publishing the gospel. Are you part of it?
