DON’T WORRY ABOUT YOUR FUTURE
“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”
Jeremiah 29:11 (Amplified)
Sometimes, when you look at your past, family, and the challenges confronting you, the future seems gloomy.
The thing is, if you are of God and moving in the direction of God’s word, you don’t have to be afraid.
The gloomy pictures of your future are not real. You don’t have to make it your meditation. Give your mind and heart to the meditation of the word of God.
It is what God has said, not how you feel.
The Jews found themselves in a situation where they were afraid of the outcome of their lives. Their future seems scary and unpleasant in their minds.
And the Lord had to comfort them with these words:
“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 (Amplified Bible).
Now these are not just words to the Jews only. The Lord has good plans for His people.
Only good and perfect gifts come from God. (See James 1:17).
His thoughts of you and your future are great and glorious.
You don’t have to trust the systems of this world than God.
Whatever God says is true and forever.
Today, I want you to know that your future is already blessed because God is the designer of your life.
Yours is to trust the process of His eternal counsel for your life.
“The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generation” Psalm 33:11
The word of the Lord is the counsel of the Lord. Your future is secured by the counsel of the Lord, stand on it!!!
