“I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!”

You don’t have to hear the gospel and cry in sorrow. The gospel of Jesus produces overflowing joy.
The words of Jesus give hope and life.
Remember the Gospel simply means Goodnews!
Every news report has headlines. And God’s news also has headlines.
As part of the many headlines in God’s news, I want you to never forget these three goodnews headlines.
1. “JESUS WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU”
“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13: 5 (NKJV)
This changes everything. To know that the Lord Jesus is with you is the greatest advantage you will ever have. And the adversary is interested in making you feel the Lord has forsaken you.
No matter the challenge you go through, maintain this confidence that the Lord will never forsake you. Don’t ever ask the question, “Lord, why had thou forsaken me?”
Well, Jesus asked such a question because He took on your sins. And now in resurrection, He has declared, “…And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 (ESV).
This is goodnews!
Look at Hebrews 13:5 from the Amplified:
“Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I WILL NEVER [under any circumstances] DESERT YOU [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], NOR WILL I FORSAKE or LET YOU DOWN or RELAX MY HOLD ON YOU [assuredly not]!”
Keep this in your heart.
2. NO ONE CAN SNATCH YOU OUT OF THE LORD’S HANDS.
This is something to shout about!
“My own sheep will hear my voice and I know each one, and they will follow me. I give to them the gift of eternal life and they will never be lost and no one has the power to snatch them out of my hands. My Father, who has given them to me as his gift, is the mightiest of all, and no one has the power to snatch them from my Father’s care. The Father and I are one.” John 10:27-30 (TPT)
This is an eternal breaking news. This is our LORD showing off His authority and care over those who believe in Him.
The Lord Jesus is declaring an eternal assurance of your preservation in Him. He did not mince words. He meant what He said.
Your salvation is eternal.
Whenever you begin to doubt your eternal salvation and security, remember this headline of the Gospel.
You are eternally kept in His hands; no one is mightier to snatch you. Why are you living insecurely?
You cannot lose any war! You are in the Lord’s hands.

3. YOU ARE IN THE LORD AND HE IS IN YOU
In Colossians 1, Paul the apostle was loud on this goodnews item. When you were born again, you were translated from the power of darkness INTO the Kingdom of His dear Son.
“He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom realm of his beloved Son“, Colossians 1:13 (TPT).
You are in Him! You are no longer in darkness.
In Him you move and have your being.
And you are not only in Him, this is the biggest:
HE IS IN YOU.
Can you imagine what the angels are thinking now?
How possible!
The fullness of God in you?
Well, it was a mystery. It looked impossible, but now God has manifested that dream. It’s His heartbeat to indwell you forever. It is no longer a mystery. He is in you now.
“There is a divine mystery—a secret surprise that has been concealed from the world for generations, but now it’s being revealed, unfolded and manifested for every holy believer to experience. Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it!” Colossians 1:26-27 (TPT)
This is the news which has sent an eternal shockwave in the entire spiritual and physical universe.
Beloved, rejoice in these realities.
Keep this Goodnews in your heart and never let it slip out of your hands. This is your victorious faith, which overcomes the world.

These items are critical to every saved fellow and I am glad to know them.
I have come to the assurance that God will never leave me nor forsake me. That means i will never lack help! That means I cannot be disappointed because He is with me.
The second item mentioned is nothing or no one can snatch me out of the Lord Jesus’ hand. My goodness, sin cant, death cant, demons cant! i am glued in Christ’s hand.
The last Item is, He is in me and I am in Him.
