DON’T PERMIT ANYONE TO PERISH
“who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth”
1 Timothy 2:4 (ESV)
There are some saints who have been in Christ for 10 years, 20 years, 5 years or 8 years and have never thought of being involved in the growth and expansion of the Kingdom.
Some believe that ministry is not about quantity, but rather quality.
However, this is not what the scriptures teach.
Ministry has to be “GREAT QUANTITY with HIGH QUALITY.”
Look at the opening verse: 1 Timothy 2:4
God “who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (ESV).
Do you see that?
This is the desire of God that ALL PEOPLE (GREAT QUANTITY) be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (HIGH QUALITY).
It is estimated that the current world population is over 8 billion according to: https://www.worldometers.info/
As you are reading this now, the numbers are increasing by 10 or more every second.
And more people are dying. The last time I checked, about 25 million people have died this year alone, and it is increasing by the tens of thousands daily and every microsecond.
The question is, how many are saved?
It is estimated by Pew Research that there are about 2.4 billion Christians as of 2021.
Who should reach out to the remaining 5.6 billion or more people?
Yes, it’s believed the number of “Christians” keeps increasing, but it’s at a slow pace compared to the previous years.
How many of this population of Christians have actually come to the knowledge of the truth?
We are not to joke with discipleship, and we are not to say, we are okay with one (1) disciple by each active Christian. It is great, but that is not what we should be dreaming of.
We must dream of being involved in the fulfillment of God’s dream to a large extent.
It is possible for each saint to disciple about 20 to 50 people with HIGH QUALITY.
It is possible!!!
It is possible to dream of reaching out to thousands of people as a Church in a locality.
We are not to permit anyone to perish.
We may not reach the world at the same time as individuals, but we can do it as a team.
If every saint is taking on his or her immediate sphere with much passion and diligence, and he or she dominates it with the gospel of our LORD JESUS, we will have a GREAT QUANTITY being saved. And also bring them to the knowledge of the truth (that is HIGH QUALITY).
Evangelising and Discipleship are the way forward. Each person must be involved.
According to Bible.org:
Ninety-five per cent of all Christians have never won a soul to Christ.
Eighty per cent of all Christians do not consistently witness for Christ.
Less than two per cent are involved in the ministry of evangelism.
Seventy-one per cent do not give toward the financing of the Great Commission.
One particular denomination surveyed its leadership ministries. The results are as follows:
63% of the leadership in this denomination, including deacons and elders, have not led one stranger to Jesus in the last two years through the method of “Go Ye” evangelism.
49% of the leadership ministries spend zero time in an average week ministering outside of the church.
89% of the leadership ministries have zero time reserved on their list of weekly priorities for going out to evangelise.
99% of the leadership ministries believe that every Christian, including leadership, has been commanded to preach the gospel to a lost world.
97% believe that if the leadership had a greater conviction and involvement in evangelism, that would be an example for the church to follow.
96% of the leadership believe their churches would have grown faster if they had been more involved in evangelism.
That leadership survey is true in most Churches across the globe.
The world population is increasing right from the immediate communities we live in.
We shouldn’t be careful to dream!
The Holy Spirit is our advantage in this labour. By the Spirit of the LORD, we can cover the earth with the gospel as the waters cover the sea.
We don’t have to leave evangelism and discipleship in the hands of only a few people. We must all be involved.
The ministry of reconciliation is not in the hands of a few people. It’s committed to every new creation.

Jesus gave us a command to win souls and make students of the souls!
His aim is that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, that is great quantity of believers with high quality.
Every day many people die and many are born
I must be involved in street evangelism

many agree to the power of evangelism but only a few preach!
even men of God have relax with the command to “go ye”
Only few give towards God’s mandate to reach the lost.

Numbers are really important in everything in this world
Man is the determinant of what ever dominates a sphere
What ever many people follow is deemed important no matter the status of that thing so for the good news to thrive believers must consider numbers (Quantity) and the matter of they coming to the knowledge of the truth cannot be underestimated because the masses that come to us cannot be empty but be full and convinced of their true identity in Jesus that will make the message cover the whole sphere this is the reason why people are burnt on controlling the minds of the masses because if they get the attention of many they can propagate any message that will go so viral in some few minutes
