YOU HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION
“Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done.”
Luke 22:42 (Berean Standard Bible)
Beloved, by the revelation of scriptures, man has a crucial role to enact in the fulfillment of God’s eternal plan and purpose.
God as the creator has an intention for His creation. Just as every inventor has an intention for his or her invention.
God made us to be His workmanship unto good works (Ephesians 2:10).
He also designed man to have an organic partnership with Him.
God didn’t make man just to exhibit His creative ability.
When He made man:
– He gave man a spirit (Zechariah 12:1; Ecclesiastes 12:7; Isaiah 42:5; Numbers 26:22), so that man will be able to relate with Him. Remember, God is a Spirit (John 4:24).
– He made man a living soul. Genesis 2:7 (which includes the mind, the will and the emotions).
– God gave man a mind (Psalm 139:13-16) to be able to reason.
– He gave man a will to make decisions and choices (Genesis 2:16-17; John 1:12-13).
– He gave man emotions to feel and interpret his or her experiences and He also gave man a body to function in this physical world. (See also 1 Thessalonians 5:23)
These items reveal how God designed man in other to have a well structured partnership with him.
By these items it becomes possible for God to work together with man to achieve His eternal purpose through time.
These also reveal how man can choose to live independent of God. Though man can only achieve God’s intention when He has an interdependence with Him.
Surely, God made you to partner with Him to achieve His purpose.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
God doesn’t force you to live and function according to His will.
To work with God and experience true fulfillment, you must willingly make a decision to function according to His WILL.
Noah had to make a choice to believe in God’s word to build an ark before the flood. Others had the opportunity to join him, but they refused.
Abraham had to willingly leave his father’s house to a land God will show him. And through that step of faith, all nations were blessed through him.
Joseph had to make a decision to honour God and to reject Potipher’s wife.
David had to make a choice to stand with the Lord and to stand up for His people.
Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah decided to stand with God and not to bow to any other God, irrespective of the threat and danger.
Despite the persecutions, the apostles and disciples of Jesus did not turn away, but continued to preach and spread the gospel of our Lord.
You can decide to do things according to your will or according to the will of God.
The choice is with you.
It is time to say, LORD not my will BUT YOUR WILL!
Selah.
DIG DEEPER
(Matthew 26:39; Matthew 6:10; Psalm 40:8; John 4:34; John 5:30; Proverbs 19:20-22)
WE PRAY
That in all things we will yield ourselves to walk in the ultimate WILL of God.

Thank you Jesus. And thank you Apostle for this message
Moses refused to be called the son of Pharoah’s daughter, esteem the riches of Christ far greater than all the fleeting pleasures of Egypt!
God made man as an intelligent being with a will, mind, emotion, conscience, body with senses.
His design for man is so that man can walk in God’s purpose…God made man to be in partnership with Him. A glorious mystical Union, where man comes to decide to be in-separable from God.
God designed man to come to knowledge after He has been made righteousness.
To walk in His foreordained Good works!
But a major step is man’s decision!
Because God is free and does not force His will on people.
Man must come to the place of total submission to God to enjoy the full expression of God.
Thank you Jesus Lord
I refuse to yield to my will.
I walk in agreement with God in all things.
Father let your will be done not mine.
I choose to walk in the will of God. Hallelujah!!!
A Simple but very profound statemen “Not my will but thine”. The strongest power of man is his will. The will power is one of the crucial things God implanted into the soul of man. It is the will that brought sin into existence it is the will also that brought salvation unto us so the will power has changed destinies and lives positively and negatively based on the choice the host makes and what ever choice a man makes has an consequences knowingly or unknowingly.
It is only the mercy of God that has always intervened in some cases. so as todays Macharia says let us sort for what Gods will has said through his word and his voice that we will walk in alignment to it accordingly.
Not going according to God will not affect the salvation of a believer but can be a great debt unto generations which the host will have to account for
Lord not my will but YOUR WILL!!!!!
More grace Lord! to walk in your ultimate WILL.
Not my will but your will, Lord
Hallelujah
