Sarah conquered and overcame biological limitations by faith in God.
Laughter of doubt was her initial response to the message of the Lord that she was going to give birth to a son. Even her husband Abraham had that same response.
“Then Abraham bowed down to the ground, but he laughed to himself in disbelief. “How could I become a father at the age of 100?” he thought. “And how can Sarah have a baby when she is ninety years old?” (Genesis 17:17)
But the Lord brought them to the consciousness of His power.
He asked them, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?…” (Genesis 18:14).
Is your answer “yes” to the above question?
I doubt you will even think that way.
Nothing is too hard for the Lord.
This gives you the advantage.
The initial response of Abraham and Sarah wasn’t just based on doubt, but the display of their self-doubt, low self-regard or low self-esteem and insecurities. Their laughter was the voice of their low self-esteem and insecurities. These are also limitations to greatness.
Low self-esteem, self-regard, and insecurities have limited people from receiving and enjoying their blessings.
Are you struggling with low self-esteem?
Has that also become your limitation?
Faith is your way out of that limitation.
People don’t think low self-esteem is a limitation.
They think that’s how they are and their way of adjusting to society.
No one is born with low self-esteem. People are cultured into that state of mind.
Break free from it!
You are reading this now, and you are really struggling with low self-esteem or low self-regard and insecurities. These have influenced you not to dare to step into your purpose and calling. It makes you undermine your potential and prefer to hide or dim your light.
Because of your sense of insecurity, you are afraid to be corrected. You take every correction as an attack. You are afraid to make mistakes because of the thoughts of others. And how you were a target of bullying and mockery. You are not growing into the best version of yourself because you are scared to be in the limelight.
You live caged and reduced, yet cry for liberation in your soul and don’t know how!
You feel intimidated when you meet others doing great things.
All you do in secret is to cry, cuddle the feeling of worthlessness, nurture envy whenever you see what others are achieving.
Do you know you increase your low self-regard and insecurities as you continue to think and live that way?
Low self-regard and insecurities are proof that you have not allowed the Word of God to influence your heart, thus, you are not living by faith.
You may not be the one responsible for the development of that low self-esteem, but it is your responsibility to continue in it or to step out of it.
Make a decision that you are going to live free from these projectiles of darkness.
Maybe growing up as a child:
– you were ridiculed by almost everyone.
– you didn’t receive love, affection, family warmth and positive affirmations.
– you were traumatised, abused and neglected.
– you couldn’t fit into your sphere, or the circles you found yourself and were bullied by your peers.
– you were constantly criticised and compared to others.
– poor academic performance from early childhood education to basic school.
Even Now:
– you experience poor academic performance and poor work performance.
– you feel isolated by society.
– you are always criticised by others, including family, friends, employers and mentors.
Maybe you are even struggling with:
– abusive relationships
– not meeting expectations
– societal pressures
– social media “troll” and comparison
– stage fright, anxiety or fear and chronic stress.
These things erode self-regard or self-esteem and induce a sense of inner worthlessness. It leads to a feeling of inadequacy. It amplifies mental disorders.
Instead of allowing yourself to be continuously brandished and decimated or pulverised by these experiences, take a stand on the word of God.
The word of God builds you up as an edifice and makes you rise above these inner limitations by faith.
Faith is living out the dominion of light. And faith is produced in you through the revelational light of the Word.
When the light of the Word shone in the heart of Abraham and Sarah, they rose from the mental limitation of barrenness into the possibility of becoming the source of many nations.
Make a decision today that you are going to break free from every limitation.

low-self esteem and insecurity is an evidence that you have not allowed the word of God to influence your heart; thus, you are not living by faith.
