BE DETERMINED TO RUN TO FINISH
“It’s not that I’ve already reached the goal or have already completed the course. But I run to win that which Jesus Christ has already won for me.”
Philippians 3:12 (God’s Word Translation)
The finished work of Christ, through His death, burial, and resurrection, does not mean we have no work or task as believers in Christ.
The finished work of Christ has produced the goodness of God in every believer.
The Lord has made every new creation in Christ His workmanship unto good works (Ephesians 2:10). Interestingly, these good works were foreordained in God before the foundation of the world.
God planned our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it.
This means that through Christ’s finished work, we have access through faith to God and have been established in Him to execute His plans by our good works of faith.
The life of every believer is to be the execution of God’s eternal purpose. The original goal and purpose of your life is not for you to live and accomplish your ambition.
The goal of your life is to execute God’s purpose.
All that you need to accomplish God’s purpose and plan for your life is fully supplied to you by God through His Spirit. However, you will still not automatically accomplish God’s goal for your life.
To achieve God’s goal for your life, you have to be intentional, you have to be determined, and you have to make a decision you are going to diligently work towards the goal or target.
Paul the apostle said, “I run to win…”
To run in this context also means to press on or to explode with determination towards your goal. It is to act in commitment to a course till you reach the finish line.
There is a level God wants you to reach, an impact God wants you to make, and a glorious purpose to fulfill. There is a target God has woven into your heart.
No matter how you accomplish those personal ambitions of yours, you will only find true satisfaction when you pursue and accomplish God’s purpose and goal for your life.
This then requires that you set your heart and mind towards God’s goal for your life.
Live every day of your life by running towards the goal the Lord has set before you.
Don’t run away from purpose, run towards the purpose of God for you.

A gloves stays useless until its befitting content that will use it for its purpose
a gloves doesnt work automatically even though it is helpful to its content
that is how the deposit of God is in us until we put the investments to work nothing can be done at all because its a manual work which involves the content and its container to bring forth a befitting result
As God is so must his work be God is excellent so his work must be excellent but not average
You should know that a mans ambitions is encompassed in God outside God is just an empty work done for self pleasure that is why we must connect everything we do to purpose but not pleasure

The death of Christ Jesus did not produce irresponsible believers. His death gave us the room to be sanctified and made perfectly fitting to pursue His dreams.
God has a purpose for us and has predetermined the good works we will do to accomplish that which He has ordained for us. While many run from God’s purpose, other feel if God has a purpose for me, it will happen automatically. The first is not good and the last thought is even dangerous. God’s purpose does not just happen automatically.
To achieve God’s goal for your life, you have to be intentional, you have to be determined, and you have to make a decision you are going to diligently work towards the goal or target.
