Most at times it is not what is happening to you that matters, rather it is the VOICE you are hearing that matters. The voice you hear and respond to is what influences your life. Do you hear the voice of your fears, worry, pain and struggle or you hear the voice of the Lord? Selah.

BURN WITH ZEAL FOR GOD’S ASSIGNMENT

“For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.”

Psalm 69:9 (KJV)

Beloved, your zeal defines the intensity with which you handle Kingdom responsibilities.

Your zeal towards God’s work is intensified when you train yourself to commune with the Lord and to immerse your emotions, will and mind in the Lord.

You cannot be effective in your service of the Kingdom without the zeal of the Lord.

“Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward Him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let Him fill you with excitement as you serve Him”. Romans 12:11 (TPT)

The level at which you are immersed in the zeal of the Lord will determine how you pursue the excellence of God’s will.

There is a way God wants His work to be done. When your heart is boiling with the passion to see Kingdom success, you cannot entertain complacency.

There are some who think they don’t have a burning passion or zeal for anything at all.

That’s not really true.

Everyone has a zeal for something.
There is no one without zeal.

Some have a zeal towards someone they want to marry. Others have a zeal for drugs. Some have an unquenchable zeal towards the football club they support.

Some have zeal for the religious group they belong.

People can zealously kill for something.

Zeal is the boiling passion within a man’s heart. Zeal in itself doesn’t know what is right or wrong.

Zeal gravitates towards the interest or focus of your heart.

Paul persecuted the Church because of his assumed zeal for God and the Jewish traditions. He didn’t know he was using his zeal to persecute God’s people. (Philippians 3:6).

There are people who are zealous towards their family interests, academic interests, and the interests of their company and care little about the Kingdom of God.

Is it wrong to genuinely care for your family, academic, and company interests?

Certainly not.

However, as one who is in the Kingdom, the interest of the Kingdom must come first.  Your zeal must gravitate towards the refulgence and spreading of the Kingdom.

What can you sacrifice for the Kingdom of God?

When your zeal burns towards the growth and excellence of the Kingdom, you will not be complacent in any way. You will not procrastinate, nor will you sit on the fence. You will take the initiative. The zeal of the Lord will drive you not only to have a sense of responsibility, but to take responsibility.

When the Jews had lost their sense of zeal towards the purpose of the temple, they allowed the temple to become a religious shopping mall instead of what it was meant to be.

“As he went into the temple courtyard, he noticed it was filled with merchants selling oxen, lambs, and doves for exorbitant prices, while others were overcharging as they exchanged currency behind their counters. So Jesus found some rope and made it into a whip. Then he drove out every one of them and their animals from the courtyard of the temple, and he kicked over their tables filled with money, scattering it everywhere! And he shouted at the merchants, “Get these things out of here! Don’t you dare make my Father’s house into a center for merchandise!” That’s when his disciples remembered the Scripture: “I am consumed with a fiery passion to keep your house pure!” John 2:14-17 (TPT).

The Jewish leaders didn’t care what was done with the temple. They were complacent in seeing to the fulfilment of the purpose of God. However, Jesus felt otherwise.

He couldn’t stand to watch the corruption of the purpose of the temple.

He had a burning passion for God’s house. He was ready to put His life on the line just to enforce the will of God.

Culture your heart to burn with zeal towards God’s assignment.

You remain blessed.

Selah.

I have realized everyone has a zeal for something and that zeal does not care whether what it is pursuing or doing is right or wrong. It just gravitates towards the person’s predilection for an agenda or for something. When I see people like Martin Luther King Jr. and how he fought against the segregation between white and blacks. How he held conferences. Oh his zeal stirred me up. I heard Him say in a video, “I don’t care what anyone will do to me, because, I have been to the Mountain top, and my eyes have seen the coming of the Glory of the Lord” He actually didn’t mean it biblically, he was seeing a day of revolution where blacks and whites will be free to walk together and sit in the same classroom without racism. He was killed for it and He seemed happy to die for this cause. I am not saying He wasted His life because He was an active believer and preached many sermons. But I realized He’s zeal stirred others up. To pick up the issue from when he died and ensure it happened.
Zeal is contagious and very relevant to see success and excellence.
Everybody can have zeal for things they like. Similarly if you love God and the Kingdom you will have zeal for His Kingdom. Apostle Paul said, they has left me, not caring for the thing of Jesus Christ.
But as believers our priority is the Kingdom. Anything kingdom of God must strike a chord in us.
Our zeal for God can be cultivated by two ways.
Your zeal towards God’s work is intensified when you train yourself to commune with the Lord and to immerse your emotions, will and mind in the Lord.
By so doing, everything concerning the kingdom of God will mean more to you than life itself.
What will make someone say give me Scotland, lest I die”?
What will make William Tyndale translate the bible into english knowing the risks involved? When they caught Him and gave Him money to by all the copies He had distributed, what is that thing that made think otherwise and use the money to print more copies? and distribute? making it hard for the leaders to eradicate the english translation of the bible from the system? He was burnt at stake and wont even acknowledge he was wrong? what is that thing?

IT IS ZEAL FOR GOD AND FOR THE KINGDOM
The bible we have today came to us by the blood of others, they know they will die and they gladly went for it. They smiled at death to give the kingdom the push it needed.
Thank you Jesus

people think they will always loose and not find fulfillment when they are zealous in the things of God but less do they know that as we become zealous in the things of God it is to our advantage because the world and its curse finds no space in us and we have absolute control over all the systems and rise above them all because one with zeal and right direction arrives at a place of mastery over all things.
Communing with the Lord is actually a big deal and can never be overlooked in our walk with God and know there is no sacrifice you can make that is so greater than that of Christ. Even when you dedicate your whole life to become like a Nazarite (consecrated)  and not do anything but serve God it is not greater
