PRACTICE LONG FELLOWSHIP TIMES WITH THE LORD
“Now at this time Jesus went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer to God.”
Luke 6:12 (Amplified)
Whatever God has put in your heart to achieve will be done according to His own ability.
Your human strength is insufficient for what God has called you to do.
The Angel said to Mary, “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.” Luke 1:37 (AMPC)
The projects ahead of you which seem impossible, become possible when God is with you.
As a man in Christ, God is with you, however, you must intentionally be with God as well in all you do.
Make intentional decisions to pray and to minister unto the Lord.
Though God loves you and wants to partner with you to achieve His dreams for you, He wouldn’t force His partnership on you. You have to intentionally engage the Lord. He may put desires in your heart to draw you close to Himself, and He will put subtle longings of fellowship into your heart. This is to lead you into times of fellowship with Him. And when you become prompt to respond and to be consistent with it, your inward capacity and abilities expand for big things.
Develop the habit of spending time with God patiently. Don’t rush out of the place of prayer and fellowship with the Spirit.
You can only have the best of each relationship when you are willing to invest time.
Jesus our Lord, showed us the need for consistent communion with the Father.
Jesus started His ministry by first staying in fellowship with the Father, for 40 days and 40 nights.
What was He doing?
Praying and communing with the Father.
Jesus didn’t start His ministry without first having a long session of communion with the Father.
How are you starting your year?
Don’t leave things to chance, spend long hours of fellowship with the Spirit. He has the master plan for the year and each month. He knows the steps you have to take and the people you have to meet. He knows the resources you need to do what He has destined you to do. Stay long with Him.
The vision of God was made clear and also intensified in the heart of Moses after he separated himself to be with the Lord for 40 days and 40 nights.
When Moses returned He was soaked with a dimension of God’s glory to the extent that the skin of his face changed.
“But whenever Moses went in before the LORD to speak with Him, he would take off the veil until he came out; and whenever he came out and spoke to the sons of Israel what he had been commanded, the sons of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone. So Moses would replace the veil over his face until he went in to speak with Him.” (Exo 34:34-35 NAS)
The more you stay long with God, the more you are immersed in His presence and His word shines in your heart.
It is great to have quality time with the Lord. However, to have a long quantity and quality of time with the Lord is the most treasured moment in your life.
In this present age of speed, everyone is in haste. They want to get into prayer, blast in 5-minute tongues and expect to receive or download immeasurable eternal virtues.
In a world of fast food, fast internet, video reels, shorts, recaps, quick rise to fame, highly fast vehicles, fast computers, and swift money transfer mediums, people have become more impatient.
People easily get offended and displeased, when they are not seeing answers to prayers as fast as they want. They become agitated and tensed easily. Frowns at God and the spiritual principles, just as they frown and hit on their mobile devices when an app doesn’t open between a microsecond to 2 seconds.
Everyone is interested in fast-charging cables for their batteries.
Thus, to stay 5 hours or 16 hours in prayers and communion with the Lord, seems to be a waste of time to most people of this generation. Everyone seems to be in a hurry.
People are in haste to please the world and not in haste to please the Father.
Beloved, take your time, and patiently stay in communion with the Holy Spirit.
This is how you can mount up high with wings as an Eagle.
If you don’t want to faint in the journey of your destiny, learn to stay long in fellowship with the Lord.
Glory to God!

Exod.34.28 Moses was up on the mountain with the LORD forty days and forty nights. In all that time he neither ate nor drank. At that time he wrote the terms of the covenant–the Ten Commandments–on the stone tablets. (NLT)
Indeed, men are in classes. It is clear, a man is made also by the things he soaks himself in consistently. Moses knew how to Tally long with the Lord and no wonder he was made God-man amongst men. This also is a kingdom secret that ought to be imbibed; Tallying long with the Lord. GLORY TO GOD.
