ACCESSING SECRETS 1

“It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out”

Proverbs 25:2 (ESV)

Is God mysterious?

Does He have mysteries?

God remains a mystery dependent on your position and lens.

It is not the intention of God to remain a mystery. It is not His intention to conceal things and even to conceal Himself. God wants to be known and experienced. He wants men to access His reality and principles.

Principles and laws are God’s investment in the cosmic universe. They harmonize the systems within the universe to help sustain its course.

The person of God is no longer a mystery because of Christ.

Jesus Christ came to unveil God to mankind.

“No one has ever yet seen God. The only begotten God, the One being in the bosom of the Father, He has made Him known.” John 1:18 (Berean Literal Bible)

Yet the scriptures state that when Jesus, who is the word, manifested Himself in the flesh, those who thought they knew the word did not know Him and could not receive Him as God (See John 1:11).

The Prophet Isaiah declared:

“From ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.” (Isaiah 64:4)

Now Paul the apostle revealed that this scripture has been fulfilled:

“No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—His plan that was previously hidden, even though He made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord. That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:7-9 (NLT)

God was revealed through Christ yet they couldn’t comprehend that reality. They shouted crucify Him. But didn’t know it was GOD.

Until you put on Christ, you will not know about God and He will still be a mystery to you. God is only demystified in Christ.

This is why life and living remain a mystery to many. The true understanding of God, the essence and frame of life is decoded through the lens of Christ.

Your understanding of Christ through His word grants you access to the depths of God’s wisdom and the hidden secrets of life.

The word of God is the constitution of the wisdom of God.
All that is concealed is revealed in the word of God through the lens of Christ.

Get this, secrets are conceptions deployed to harness or manipulate principles and systems to work for one’s advantage. These conceptions are developed through a person’s measure of understanding.

Your measure of understanding determines the secrets you unravel.
Every believer accesses secrets in the secret place.

The secret place is not just a room, but the active moments of communion with God. You have deep communion with God through:

– The process of meditation of the Word (which is the mind of God)
– Through prayer and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. And He searches all things, even the deep things of God. When you commune with Him, He brings to your heart the deep thoughts of God’s word.

He brings to heart the hidden secrets the Jewish rulers couldn’t apprehend.

“But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.” 1 Corinthians 2:10-12 (NLT).

Jesus said of the Holy Spirit, He is the Spirit of Truth who will lead the sons of God into all TRUTH (John 16:13).

Beloved, the secrets of God are not hidden from you. The secrets of God and His universe are within your heart.
