THE LAMB SONG – THE NEW SONG 4
“And they sang in a mighty chorus: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered— to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.”
Revelation 5:12 (New Living Translation)
What song are you singing?
Songs of sorrow?
Songs of how darkness prevails?
Songs of defeat?
Songs of being delivered one day?
No!
Sing the songs of the Lamb.
The song of the Lamb is the song of what Christ has accomplished through His blood.
No matter how the adversary accuses you, don’t change your songs.
Sing the New Song of the Lord. This is the song of your true reality.
You don’t overcome the adversary by what you try to do.
Look at this:
“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” Revelation 12:1]-11 (KJV).
Don’t allow the adversary to change your disposition. Don’t change your confession. Sing the songs of the glorious accomplishment of the Lamb of God.
As we have seen through this series, the songs of the heavenly are the songs of the Lamb of God.
The Prophet Isaiah announced this ahead of time:
“Pay attention, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel. I, the LORD, made you, and I will not forget you. I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.” Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done this wondrous thing. Shout for joy, O depths of the earth! Break into song, O mountains and forests and every tree! For the LORD has redeemed Jacob and is glorified in Israel.” Isaiah 44:21-23 (NLT)
It may look like this was about Jerusalem. But these Prophet declared words which transcended the physical Jerusalem. Their prophetic words were glimpses of God’s eternal work.
These verses are prophecies concerning the price which Christ has paid through His blood. They testify of Christ’s redemptive and glorified work.
It also articulates how the saints must respond to this redemptive and glorified work with singing. The Prophet was also speaking of the LAMB SONG, which is the New Song of Heaven.
In Revelation 15, John the Apostle saw and heard the victorious saints singing the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb.
“And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.” Revelation 15:3 (KJV)
These are not necessarily two different songs. These are the same songs. Moses the servant of God sang a prophetic song of the Lamb and this song is recognized in the heavenly sanctuary.
After God delivered the Israelites out of Egypt and led them to cross the Red Sea, Moses praised the Lord and sang a song of deliverance or a song of Salvation (Exodus 15:1-18).
Now there are three (3) recorded songs of Moses:
1. What he sang after they crossed the Red Sea.
2. The second was recorded in the Psalm. Which is Psalm 90.
3. And the third song was recorded at the end of Moses’ life. (Deuteronomy 32)
However, the one he sang after crossing the Red Sea is a song which testifies to the deliverance and Salvation of the Lord.
The deliverance of Israel wasn’t founded on the crossing of the Red Sea. The foundation of their deliverance is God and was worked through the Passover Lamb. This means Moses’ song of deliverance is ultimately a prophetic song of the Lamb.
Israel had been in slavery for many years and couldn’t come out of the land of Egypt. Despite the miracles demonstrated by Moses and the several plagues which befell the people of Israel, Pharoah’s heart was too hardened to let the people of Israel go.
It was the Passover experience that finally triggered the decision for Pharoah to allow the people of Israel to go.
The glorious news is that the Passover Lamb was a foreshadowing of Christ’s redemptive work.
Jesus Christ is the True Passover Lamb.
He is also the perfect Lamb of God.
Thus, the song of Moses is the song of the Lamb.
At the deliverance of Israel from Egypt Moses sang a song of the victory of the Lamb of the Lord. He didn’t sing of their pain and agony. He sang of the deliverance and Salvation the Lord gave them.
Christ redeemed those who were under the curse of the Law, through His blood. He also delivered all the saints from the power of darkness and translated us into His eternal glorious kingdom.
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14 (NKJV)
This is our NEW SONG!
This glorious victory of the blood is the song of the Lamb which we sing.
Let’s all saints sing with joy:
“WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN!”
Oh Hallelujah!
– JESUS the Lamb of God who was slain even before the foundation of the world is WORTHY.
– He is my NEW SONG on my lips.
– I sing daily the glorious song of the Lamb.
Thank you Lord Jesus for shedding your blood for me!

Revelation 5:9 Living Bible
9 They were singing[a] him a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it; for you were slain, and your blood has bought people from every nation as gifts for God.
Moses’ song after the deliverance of Israel from Egypt was through the passover which was a typology of the finished work of Jesus….so the song Moses sang was the lamb song. A song of the Passover!
Jesus Christ is the true passover lamb that saved us from the clutches of sin and death….Jesus is worthy to take the scrolls and release its seals!
What a blessed life we have now!
Gloreeeyyy

He is also the perfect Lamb of God for the sacrifice for sin.

You are worthy, Oh Lord, to receive glory, honor and power!!!
Thank you Lord for your priceless sacrifice and precious blood which you shed for my sanctification.
Thank you Lord Jesus for shedding your blood for me!
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
Oh gloreeey
For because of Jesus we are not aliens to the covenant God has with Israel For Jesus has made us sons through his Genetic coding infused into us as life by his word that we have believed.
So now we have the victory that was expected in ages past. Christ Jesus has now given us the promises and so we sing to glorify his name for he is worthy of it for all he has done
Singing any song that doesn’t glorify the lamb is a sign of ungratefulness which may be hinged on ignorance for the adversary knows what the lamb song does to a believer , but thank God for Machairawithapostlebennie to enlighten us on what we should do
WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN
Indeed worthily is the lamb of God that was slain
