BURST FORTH IN SPIRITUAL SONGS
“Then I heard what seemed to be the thunderous voice of a great multitude, like the sound of a massive waterfall and mighty peals of thunder, crying out: “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns!”
Revelation 19:6 (TPT).
The idea of “song minister” has been reduced to those who have good voices or those who lead in songs.
There are some “Christian musicians” who think they are the ones who lead saints INTO the presence of God.
Apart from Jesus, nobody leads God’s people INTO the presence of God; though in our communion in the Lord, He has given us shepherds who lead us IN Him.
Take note:
– Every believer in Christ has the responsibility to lead the unreached TO Christ, through the Gospel.
– However, by the blood of Jesus we all have access INTO God. And we all come to the Father through Christ.
– And then God has trained men who are to lead His saints IN Him, to fulfill purpose.
I hope it is clear.
Now, let this be settled in your heart:
Through the work of Christ in His death and resurrection, He gave access to all men into the presence of the Lord.
We have access into God’s presence not because someone leads us in songs. We have access into God’s presence because of the goodness of Christ.
“for through Him, we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.” Ephesians 2:18 (NASB).
Ministering to the Lord in songs is not the responsibility of few others. It is the responsibility of all the saints.
All the saints in Christ are true worshippers.
“For we [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, set apart for His purpose and] are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory and take pride and exult in Christ Jesus and place no confidence [in what we have or who we are] in the flesh” Philippians 3:3 (AMP)
The born again is the justified (the just man) who stands in the presence of God without any sense of guilt, because of the goodness of Christ.
As just men who have access to God, we have the privilege to minister to the Lord in spiritual songs. We are to minister to the Lord in songs, during our personal time with the Lord and also while we are amidst the congregation of the saints.
We shouldn’t think singing together as a congregation is a religious cliché or an activity to while away time. We don’t use times of ministering in songs to wait for the preacher. Neither is it to tickle the emotions of the congregation.
Ministering in songs is a rhythm of a life immersed with the Spirit. When you are saturated by the Spirit and soaked by the Word, you will burst forth in spiritual songs. Rhythms of His presence will gush forth from your Spirit.
The hymns, the spiritual songs and various melodies we chant in today’s Church are rhythms of just men who were caught up in divine revelation.
When we gather as saints, the Lord inspires deep spiritual rhythms in the heart of the congregation and we minister unto Him and also to one another.
The most important instrument which resounds the transcendent rhythms of Christ is the thousands of voices of the saints soaked with the Spirit of Grace.
“Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice,
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” Revelation 5:11-12 (ESV).
All beings in Heaven, on earth, in the seas and under the earth, make harmonious rhythm of glory to the Lord. (Revelation 5:13)
No concert held by men transcends such experience.
This is the portrait of fellowship in eternity. Beyond the best musical instruments, God is interested in the rhythms of the revelation of Jesus, dispensed through the voices of the saints in the oneness of heart. (Romans 15:5-6)
Don’t miss any moment to join a gathering where all saints are ministering in the oneness of heart to the Lord. Let your voice be heard in the rhythms of the just men.
– We pray declaring that our hearts will be flooded with the right revelation as we minister unto Him.
2 Corinthians 1
I your voice be heard in the rhythms of the just men
Thank you Lord Jesus for this inspiring and revelatory truth of your Word.
I live in the consciousness of my responsibility of ministering in songs to the Lord.
We have access into God’s presence not because someone leads us in songs. We have access into God’s presence because of the goodness of Christ. Ha!!!
Thank you Lord
I am justified.
I minister unto the Lord with the right revelation of Him
My voice is heard in the rhythm of just men
Thank you, Lord for Machaira with Apostle Bennie
