LET YOURSELF OFF THE HOOK 2

Do you know how most online content creators keep you glued to their posts?

They pique your curiosity through captivating hooks.
These people know that attention is expensive thus, they forensically observe trending data which defines how the people they want to reach think and dig deep into their imaginations to find the right words which can grab their attention and stimulate their emotions.

Now this is how it works, the more you stick to their content, the more you become fascinated and perfervid about those contents.

The adversary also understands the value of your attention. He wouldn’t just whip your heart with depressive thoughts.

He takes you on a personal retrospection journey and makes you collate your present state with your peers.
He hacks into your thoughts by observing your interests or by inducing your craving (just as the internet algorithm operates), then ascertain the data which best fits you, to create an emotional hook.

Let me help you understand how the internet algorithm works:

The algorithm cumulates internet users’ signals to match them with relevant content. So when you subscribe and keep watching the luminary Apostle Bennie’s YouTube videos or follow Machaira with Apostle Bennie talk shows, the algorithm will identify your interests and continue to suggest content similar to yours. Even when you have not used a platform before it will first suggest a post (to induce interest), the moment you engage those posts, then the system will keep sending you similar data.

That is how things work in the Spirit. When you indulge in any matter your heart will always be magnetized by it for your satisfaction.

The adversary knows this also, thus, he uses a similar system to direct your thoughts. He doesn’t know which area he can use to whip your heart. However, he gathers information from your past activities to create a hook suitable enough for you to be ensnared.

You have a choice today to continue to remain hooked to the adversary’s web of lies or to live free in the will of God for your life.

He is not going to stop at any time to induce wrong desires and doubts in your heart. He will keep making discouraging remarks, but you have to make a decision not to fall for it.
