REDEMPTION OF TIME AND EARLY SUCCESS 3

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Ephesians 5:15-16 (NKJV)

Beloved, you might have had some wasted years or a time where you could have accomplished certain tasks, which you failed to do. You don’t have to beat yourself up in sorrow and disappointment.

As we have seen in the previous post, God doesn’t want you to have wasted years, so He is interested in restoring those years.

“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.” Joel 2:25 (ESV)

You don’t experience the restoration of wasted years by thinking about the past.

Paul the apostle taught us what to do:

“Of course, my friends, I really do not think that I have already won it; the one thing I do, however, is to forget what is behind me and do my best to reach what is ahead.” Philippians 3:13 (GNT)

Maybe there was a big assignment the Lord previously entrusted to you and you failed at it; don’t worry. Reach out to another opportunity, step up and accomplish it as the Lord has intended.

There are two major things you should take note of:

1. To have early success, you must start early.

     When is your early time?

Well, stop thinking your early time is in the past. No matter the delays you have had your “EARLY TIME” is now!

2. The concept of redeeming the time is basically to make the most of every opportunity you have.

“making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil.” Ephesians 5:16 (Amplified Bible).

You have to be prompt to harness every time available to you. No matter how you patiently endure seasons, you must make sure you are still running (Hebrews 12:1).

You don’t experience restoration by being sluggish. There is nothing done with God which must be slow.

“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord” Romans 12:11 (KJV)

Read also in the Amplified Bible:

“never lagging behind in diligence; aglow in the Spirit, enthusiastically serving the Lord” (Romans 12:11)

Your life and your living on earth must be seen as business. Whatever you do with your time is a trade of purpose. You can’t afford to be sluggish and wasteful thinking that great things will manifest through you. Until you decide and begin to work, nothing works for you.

If you are going to make the most of the time or opportunity you have, you will need to give yourself to consistent PRAYER.

You intensify your relationship with God, when you give yourself consistently to prayers. The more you spend time praying, the more your heart is open to seeing the things God wants you to do.

All through the scriptures, there is no single person who had early success without prayer.

In the place of prayer, you receive divine counsel and also access the abundance of grace for every time of need.

Whenever you observe some delay in any area of your life, first check your consistency in prayer.

Give yourself to prayer, take inspired steps now and don’t be sluggish.

Shalom.

WE PRAY
We pray that we shall be prompt to exceptionally do that which the Lord has called us to do.

– I make daily progress and success through prayer.

– I make each day count.

Thank you Lord Jesus!

Patience is a virtue to tarry in the presence of God but in all we need the quickening of the spirit to help us run long and fast

There is nothing done with God which must be slow.
Your zeal towards the work the Lord has entrusted to you determines your success.
The time is now not tomorrow.
Emmmm ???? I make daily progress and success through prayer.
I make each day count.
