WALK IN HIS WILL

“Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

Luke 22:42 (Berean Standard Bible).

Beloved, by the revelation of scriptures, we realize that man has a crucial role to enact in the fulfillment of God’s eternal plan and purpose.

God as the creator has an intention for His creation. Just as every inventor has an intention for his or her invention.

God made us to be His workmanship unto good works. (Ephesians 2:10).

He also designed man to have an organic partnership with Him.

God didn’t make man just to exhibit His creative ability.

When He made man:

– He gave man a spirit (Zechariah 12:1; Ecclesiastes 12:7; Isaiah 42:5; Numbers 26:22), so that man will be able to relate with Him. Remember, God is a Spirit (John 4:24).

– He made man a living soul. Genesis 2:7 (which includes the mind, the will and the emotions).

God gave man a mind (Psalm 139:13-16) to be able to reason.

– He gave man a will to make decisions and choices (Genesis 2:16-17; John 1:12-13).

– He gave man emotions to feel and interpret his or her experiences and He also gave man a body to function in this physical world. (See also 1 Thessalonians 5:23)

These items reveal how God designed man in other to have a well-structured partnership with him.

By these items, it becomes possible for God to work together with man to achieve His eternal purpose through time.

These also reveal how man can choose to live independently of God. Though man can only achieve God’s intention when He has an interdependence with Him.

Surely, God made you to partner with Him to achieve His purpose.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

God doesn’t force you to live and function according to His will.

To work with God and experience true fulfillment, you must willingly make a decision to function according to His WILL.

Noah had to choose to believe in God’s word to build an ark before the flood. Others had the opportunity to join him, but they refused.

Abraham had to willingly leave his father’s house for a land God would show him. And through that step of faith, all nations were blessed through him.

Joseph had to decide to honor God and reject Potiphar’s wife.

David had to choose to stand with the Lord and to stand up for His people.

Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah decided to stand with God and not bow to any other God, irrespective of the threat and danger.

Despite the persecutions, the apostles and disciples of Jesus did not turn away but continued to preach and spread the gospel of our Lord.

You can decide to do things according to your will or according to the will of God.

The choice is with you.

It is time to say, LORD not my will BUT YOUR WILL!

Selah.
DIG DEEPER
(Matthew 26:39; Matthew 6:10; Psalm 40:8; John 4:34; John 5:30; Proverbs 19:20-22)

WE PRAY
That in all things we will yield ourselves to walk in the ultimate WILL of God.

BIBLE READING IN THE YEAR 2024
Ezekiel 4 – 6

DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– I choose to walk in the will of God.

– I refuse to yield to my will.

– Through prayer and the study of the word, I am strengthened to walk in the ultimate Will of God for my life.

– I walk in agreement with God in all things.

– I am a partner together with God.

Oh Hallelujah, glory!

We'd love to connect with you!

To help you build a proper foundation of spiritual understanding.

The will of the lord can never be a disadvantage to man as many think
You are now one with him and he will do good to himself so what ever he will says do remember it is to nourish you as being part of the body of Christ

Gods ways are far from ours and his thoughts are beyond ours and he knows the successful end he wants to bring us to and that can only be done if we thread his path according to his will

Yes! This is an ensign of maturity, where we are able to subject our will to His will that His will would prevail in all things.

The ultimate life anyone can ever live is to totally yield to the will of God. This is our insurance for a life of joy and fulfilment on earth. Outside His will all acts are in vain.

Dear Lord, help us to stay glued and function according to your will
