“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”
Ephesians 6:18 (KJV)
As we have seen already, supplication simply means prayer of request or petition.
It is to humbly and earnestly make a specific request concerning something you want or need.
Asking the Lord for your needs or wants doesn’t mean those needs are the center of your life.
When the Lord becomes the focus of your life, your requests or needs are influenced by His will.
This is important because God is not a “genie”, who does as you wish. He is your Father, who has a perfect plan for your life.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Therefore, you have to make requests according to His will or purpose and plans.
Any request made according to the will of God is not of the flesh. Any request made according to the will of God glorifies Him.
Never make requests according to jealousy, envy or desire to live above others.
Whatever you do must be unto the Lord’s glory.
“And if you ask, you won’t receive it for you’re asking with corrupt motives, seeking only to fulfill your own selfish desires.” James 4:3 (TPT)
Beloved, make supplication to the Lord about everything you need.
“You jealously want what others have so you begin to see yourself as better than others. You scheme with envy and harm others to selfishly obtain what you crave—that’s why you quarrel and fight. And all the time you don’t obtain what you want because you won’t ask God for it!” James 4:2 (TPT)
You can make specific requests about your finances, academics, family, health, career or business without esteeming those needs above the Lord. When you esteem the Lord above all things, you will acknowledge the things you need as means to the end and not the end itself.
Instead of being anxious, take your needs to God in prayer.
It doesn’t matter what it is, talk to God about it and His peace shall garrison your heart.
Take what God has said in His word and use it as a basis to make your request to Him.
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” 1 John 5:14 (NKJV)
Don’t surrender to anxiety and fear; instead, practice the prayer of supplication.
Release all your burdens, care, and worries from your heart and mind. Cast them unto the Lord.
Do you find yourself troubled or afflicted, pray!
“Are there any believers in your fellowship suffering great hardship and distress? Encourage them to pray!…” James 5:13 (TPT)
This is a warfare strategy. It doesn’t matter which challenge confronts you, call for help through the battlefield transceiver.
Yes, you have all the armor pieces to withstand the enemy. And even more, the Lord has also given you the opportunity to make supplication.
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3).
Wow!
Do you see it?
There is no way the Lord wouldn’t answer when you call.
God doesn’t miss your calls and doesn’t have network issues. Just call and He will answer.
Stay in touch with the Lord at all times through prayer. Make supplication, and communicate your burdens to the Lord.

I cast all my worries on God for he cares for me.
I ask my Father everything for He is my everpresent help.

Wow. I see the Lord God answering all my prayers. . I made a strong request before my Father. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you my Heavenly Father.

Machaira with Apostle Bennie is really opening my mind to whole new dimension on how ready God is to answer us only if we will call. This is enlightening.
I know now that as the Lord becomes the center of my focus, then my request and needs will be influenced by his will and as such, no matter how big or small the request is, I ask.

Thank you for your provision everyday.
We don’t pray anyhow nor ask things based on our desires but rather we ask what is according to the plan and purpose of our life and the others shall follow
God knows what ever we need per time so we have to pray Gods prayer and He will meet our needs

The surest way out of distress

If my desires and motives behind my supplications are according to His will

He acknowledges our needs and takes delight in answering them.
His plans are not to hurt or distress us

He is a prayer answering God.
