PRAYING…ALL PRAYERS 3 — SUPPLICATION 1
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”
Ephesians 6:18 (KJV)
The previous episode, “Focus on God’s Bigger Picture”, gives us an in-depth understanding of God’s intention for all His provision.
It will help expand your understanding of this spiritual warfare beyond your personal gain. And to shape your motives for taking up the armor pieces of God.
In as much as God is interested in our well-being, He wants us to focus on His Kingdom’s vision and mission.
To spread the light of the Kingdom and enforce our victory in Christ, we must know that we cannot effectively wield the sword of the Spirit and engage all the armor pieces without prayer.
Prayer is crucial in this spiritual warfare. And to enforce our victory, we are not only charged to take up the whole armor of God, but we are also charged to PRAY ALL PRAYERS IN THE SPIRIT.
We have briefly examined the various kinds of prayer; prayer of thanksgiving and adoration, prayer of faith or confession.
Even though the expression, “…all prayer…” gives an idea of different kinds of prayer, Paul the apostle sets SUPPLICATION as the linchpin in this verse. Thus, in verse 18, he mentions supplication twice.
Supplication simply means prayer of request or petition.
It is to humbly and earnestly make a specific request from the Lord.
“With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people.” Ephesians 6:18 (Amplified Bible)
Praying the prayer of request or supplication at all times is consistent with the knowledge of Christ.
And the beautiful thing about prayer is that God, who is our heavenly Father is a prayer-answering God.
It doesn’t matter the details of your request, you must have faith in your heart that, when you pray He hears you and has abundant provisions for you.
You pray about everything and for everything you need, focusing on Christ’s purpose in your heart.
No matter the need you have, it must not be the ultimate focus of your heart.
However, with confidence in who your heavenly Father is, and the humility of heart, make your request.
When you seem to be feeling anxious about anything, pray!
Are there some specific burdens or worries on your heart, about any issue at all?
Here is your answer:
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
And this will be the outcome:
“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 (NLT)
Beloved, what are you waiting for?
Get up or get on your knees or get into a humble heartfelt prayer posture and make supplication, now.
Pray about that situation and enjoy divine answers.

We pray making supplication and asking that the Lord will supply us with all that we need to fulfill His purpose.
NB: Pray address specific areas where you seem to experience lack.
I worry less, I pray more
Oh I pray more
Ha! I pray more.
I don’t worry about anything because it adds nothing to my life
But in all things I make supplications because in it my answer dwell
Worrying is the scheme of the adversary to stop you from addressing matters so come out of worrying and make prayers
I refuse to worry, instead I pray more
I DONT WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING… AND PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING. GLORY TO GOD
I tell God what I need, and I thank Him for all He has done. As I make supplication, the Lord supplies me with all I need to fulfill His purpose for me
When we pray, there’s a God who answers
He is a prayer answering God! Thank you Jesus
No matter the need I have, I don’t make it the ultimate focus of my heart

I soak every situation in prayer

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. (MSB)

Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (MSB)
Ha!!! I see possiblities as I pray. I keep watch with all perseverance for before I know it, the answer would be right there…The problem will be turned into wonders of solutions in my life.

I don’t fret or worry. instead, I go into prayer. With Prayer, I have the great advantage over the enemy and the systems of the world. I continue steadfastly in prayers making supplications for all the saints and persevering to hear from the Lord.Thank you Apostle Sir.
I pray about all things. I pray always. I make a request before my father who is in heaven.
When I pray He hears and he answered. This is my confidence in Christ Jesus.

Necessity of Prayer by Apostle Benjamin
I pray about mine needs, but still keeping my focus on the vision of Christ.
I pray the prayer of supplication and enjoy divine answers.
This is a sure word.

The beautiful thing about prayer is that God, who is our heavenly Father is a prayer-answering God.

My needs shall never be the ultimate focus of my heart but the Lord, His Kingdom and Counsel in the name of Jesus.
God has my needs in mind but he needs me to focus on his mandate. He needs me to stop worrying about my poisoned needs and fucus on fulfilling his purpose. I leave all at his feet and focus on his work
Prayer ! Prayer!! Prayer !!!
I remember Apostle once made a statement in his Sermon “Necessity of Prayer” that the first strategy is Prayer.
No matter how huge the project may seem, the challenge may be, the oppositions may come, Prayer is the victory enforcing tool.

My request is not a sign that I’m immature but rather it’s a sign that I trust the Lord to provide me with all that I need.

It is an error to be anxious as a christian; it is not consistent with the scriptures.
To walk your way out of anxiety or worry, you must pray.
Through prayer, the peace of God which surpasses understanding guards your heart and mind in Christ.
You have no excuse to be worried.
It is consistent with the scriptures to make supplication at all times.
Whenever you feel anxious, pray!

Reading this has filled my heart with so much peace I can’t explain. I feel calm and relaxed knowing that my God is a prayer answering God. No matter how overwhelming situations get around me, I go on my knees

The answer to not being anxious is by praying and making your request known unto God for he is an answering prayer God and cares for you more than yourself and anybody for that matter.

The Lord shall supply me with the grace to bear much fruit

And the peace of God keeps overwhelming my heart whenever I pray cos is I know my father is a Prayer-answering- God. I don’t make my needs the focus of my heart; once He’s heard my prayer no need focusing on how He’s going to do it. Praise be to His name, Thanks Apostle for being a conduit of blessings to this Generation
