There is no doubt that the believer in Christ is at war. And I have explained the spirituality and nature of this warfare from the beginning of this discussion.
This discussion on the armor of God is for you to understand the armor given to you by God and how to enforce the victory that Christ has obtained for you.
The armor of God is not just a gear for war but also God’s strategy for every believer to exercise and walk continuously in the victory of Jesus.
“Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil” Ephesians 6:11 (Amplified bible)
The deceptive wiles of the devil are his schemes and strategies to subdue the saints in Christ. But God is the extraordinary strategist. He didn’t only bring us eternal life, He has given us all the rich realities of Christ as weapons and strategies of war. These weapons and strategies of war are not to bring us into victory but to cause us to enjoy our victory in Christ continuously.

We have gleaned from the rich realities of the Lord’s armor; from girding your waist with truth to putting on the breastplate of righteousness and having your feet shod with the readiness of the gospel.
To have your feet shod with the readiness of the Gospel also points to the coming and attitude of a messenger with a goodnews.
To shod your feet with the readiness of the gospel is to go forth as a herald of the glad tidings of Christ in your generation.
To shod your feet with the readiness of the gospel is also to have the readiness of mind and the urgent sense of responsibility to go forth with joy with the news of Christ’s saving power.
Gird your loins and run with the goodnews of Jesus.
This is God’s strategy to saturate the world with the overwhelming victory of Jesus. The more we flood our sphere and the earth with the good news of Jesus, the more we destroy the schemes of the devil in every place.
Don’t sit on the fence; go forth with the news of Jesus’ victory.
