DISARMED ENEMY

“Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

Colossians 2:15 (NKJV)

The weapons of warfare given to us by the Lord, or the whole armor of God are not geared towards attaining victory.

They are for the enforcement and enjoyment of the victory we have received in Christ Jesus.

Beloved in Christ, be established in this certainty that the Lord has made you more than a conqueror.

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37 (KJV).

You are not now trying to conquer the adversary; the Lord conquered for you so that you will be overwhelmed by His conquest.

And this wasn’t as though the adversary was directly in a fight against the Lord. He can’t stand a chance.

The adversary has always used the legalistic rules, the wrong deeds or sins and the imperfection of man to oppress and keep man under condemnation.

But the Lord through His death on the cross and His resurrection, disarmed the adversary completely of any legal document he used against man.

“He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained soul—he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam has been placed onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation. Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his!” Colossians 2:14-15 (TPT)

The adversary has no legal right to accuse or condemn you. Don’t give space for any of his deceptive schemes. He is eternally disarmed and powerless.

He has no power or authority to condemn and to accuse you.

Remain conscious of the triumph of our Lord Jesus through the cross.

Hallelujah!

DIG DEEPER
(John 12:32; John 19:30; Romans 8:1,31-39; 2 Corinthians 2:14; Colossians 2:10)

WE PRAY
We pray that as Christ has conquered and made us victorious, we shall experience and celebrate the triumph of the Lord in all that we do.

BIBLE READING IN THE YEAR 2024
1 Chronicles 3 – 6

DECLARE THESE WORDS:
– I am more than a conqueror.

– The adversary has no power or authority to condemn and accuse me.

– I am seated far all principalities and powers in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

– I cannot be defeated.

– I remain conscious of the triumph of our Lord Jesus through the cross.

Oh thank you Lord Jesus!

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
