COMPELLED BY HIS LOVE TO BE FRUITFUL (ABUNDANT FRUIT-BEARERS 8)
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NKJV)
As part of bearing the fruits of love, we reproduce Salvation in others.
When Jesus saw the multitudes, He was not moved with the desire to take advantage of them to be popular or to make money.
When He saw the multitudes He was deeply moved with compassion, to see them saved as eternal fruits.
As we have seen in the previous episode; the salvation of souls, is included in the fruits we bear and harvest unto the Lord.
“Do you think the work of harvesting will not begin until the summer ends four months from now? Look around you! Vast fields of human souls are ripening all around us, and are ready now for reaping. The reapers will be paid good wages and will be gathering eternal souls into the granaries of heaven! What joys await the sower and the reaper, both together!” John 4:35-36.(TLB)
We bear much more fruits by getting more and more people saved.
The fruits we are to bear are also the harvest (or salvation) of souls for eternal life.
Jesus ultimately demonstrated His love and saving grace, through His death and resurrection. This was how He bore more fruits (see fruit-bearers Part 1).
” In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10 (ESV)
This was the work of the Father through Jesus.
” For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.”
2 Corinthians 5:19(NLT)
We also bear more fruits of salvation by preaching this same love of Christ and His saving grace.
This is the wonderful message the Lord has given to us, to the lost and the world.
It is the good news of Jesus.
We are ordained by God for this purpose (John 15:16).
When we deeply come to know the love of God, we will not refrain from sharing His message of love (both in words and in action).
The reality of the endless extravagant love of Christ within us, is what governs our hearts to win people to Christ.
” For the love of Christ controls and compels us…”
Which means, when you are not involved in winning people to Christ, you have not yielded to the compelling force of Christ.
Christ’s radical love expression on the cross was a loving volcano.
This flame of Christ’s compassion for the world has never exhausted itself. What exploded at the cross is a stream of fire to this day.
Let the flame of Christ’s love that took Him to the cross burn in your heart today. Let it take you to the unreached.

That we yield and submit to the controlling and compelling force of the love of Christ, to win many more others to Christ.

– Wherever I go, many shall experience what exploded at the cross as a stream of fire.
-The love of Christ controls and compels me.
-I share the wonderful message of reconciliation with my world.
– I finish my course.
-I don’t count my life, I allow the life of Christ to count in me.
– I expend myself for the salvation of others.
– This is how I demonstrate love.
