BEARING THE RIGHT FRUITS 3 (ABUNDANT FRUIT-BEARERS 7)
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NKJV)
From the Abundant Fruit-Bearers 1, we realized the death of Jesus was not just to terminate sin. It was also for the germination of FRUIT-BEARERS.
The love-life of Christ in us, is also an empowerment of ability and extravagant resources to be fruitful. The Lord has given us Himself as the blessing we need to be fruitful. (See ABUNDANT FRUIT-BEARERS 2).
Our Lord Jesus did not just demonstrate love. And He also bore the fruits of Salvation, through His love.
The fruits Christ bore includes, His love for others and Saving the lost.
As disciples of Jesus, fruit-bearing is essential in our walk with Him.
If truly we are bearing the fruits of His love; it must move us to also reproduce salvation in others.
Reaching out to the lost and getting them saved is great fruitfulness.
To save the lost also means, to harvest lost souls or to turn many unto righteousness.
It takes an intense compassion to see and to reach out to the unsaved.
Look at what Jesus said,
“When he saw the vast crowds of people, Jesus’ heart was deeply moved with compassion,because they seemed weary and helpless, like wandering sheep without a shepherd. He turned to his disciples and said, “The harvest is huge and ripe! But there are not enough harvesters to bring it all in” Matthew 9:36-37 (TPT).
When Jesus saw the crowd, He didn’t just see mere people, He saw them to be fruits which can be harvested for the Lord.
See also in John’s Gospel chapter 4:35-36:
Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to completely finish His work. Do you not say, ‘It is still four months until the harvest comes?’ Look, I say to you, raise your eyes and look at the fields and see, they are white for harvest. Already the reaper is receiving his wages and he is gathering fruit for eternal life; so that he who plants and he who reaps may rejoice together.” (Amplified Bible)
Our Lord speaks of the gathering of fruit for eternal life.
Compare the verse 36 of Amplified and The Passion Translation:
” And everyone who reaps these souls for eternal…”
Instead of fruits for eternal, we see souls for eternal life in other translations.
Let’s read it from The Living Bible:
” Do you think the work of harvesting will not begin until the summer ends four months from now? Look around you! Vast fields of human souls are ripening all around us, and are ready now for reaping. The reapers will be paid good wages and will be gathering eternal souls into the granaries of heaven! What joys await the sower and the reaper, both together!” John 4:35-36.
This is even explicit.
The fruits we are to bear are also the harvest (or salvation) of souls for eternal life.
Jesus found His nourishment in doing and accomplishing the work of the Father who sent Him (John 4:35). Now as the Father sent Him, He has also sent us (John 20:21). He chose us and ordained us to go forth to bear much fruits (John 15:16).
Beloved, be a FRUIT-BEARER today.

WE PRAY
That this day, our hearts shall open to see the distress of the lost souls within our sphere (workplaces, schools, neighborhood) and that we shall passionately reach out and gather them as eternal souls for the Kingdom.
