BEARING THE RIGHT FRUITS 2 (ABUNDANT FRUIT-BEARERS 6)

” Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5 (NKJV)

Now we have seen that to abide in Jesus (who is the Vine); means to abide in His love (John 15:9).

We’ve also had some extensive discussion on the Love of Christ and the Practice of Love.

The fruits we bear are the off-shoot of all that Christ has supplied to His branches (the saved ones).

Christ supplied His love to us for our expression.

You cannot demonstrate what you have not received.

See John 15:10 also;

“If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.”

What is this commandments in John 15?

See verse 12:

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” (ESV).

As you love one another as Christ has loved you, you are keeping, delighting and esteeming the commandments of the Lord. This then means you are abiding (remaining) in the Lord, when you are loving as Christ has loved you.

To love as Christ, is your fruit bearing. Allow His unconditional love to flow through you to others.
The Love of Christ is an essential part of the fruits we bear.

You don’t see people as channels to satisfy your selfish desire. You see people as the focus of the love of Christ which is at work in you.

This love is the complete reality of our living and walk of the newness of life.
Our daily living is a fruit of love.

Which fruit of the love of Christ have you bore today?

(Read all the previous episodes on God’s Love Language, for rich understanding on this matter – God’s Love Language 1    God’s Love Language 12 )

The more you focus and delight in the Lord, the more you are pruned by the Father, to show forth His perfect love to others.

Let the Father be glorified in you as you bear much more fruits.

(John 15:10-12; Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Peter 1:5-8)

WE PRAY

We pray that we shall bountifully bear fruits of love in our daily walk.
