YOUR FREEDOM IS YOUR CONFIDENCE

“So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One”

Romans 8:1 (TPT)

Why is it important you know that the case of your condemnation is closed?

Beloved, the confidence to live your new life in Christ is in the consciousness of your freedom.

What keeps you enslaved by the adversary is the voice of condemnation.

Condemnation is as a prison gate and lock which keeps you imprisoned. It is as the chain which binds and keeps you away from your true liberty.

The adversary knows the more he makes you feel condemned, the more he keeps you away from enjoying your liberty in Christ.

Condemnation is the root or the fundamental cause of your enslaved living. Anyone who lives under condemnation is living as a slave to sin.

One sure thing the Lord wants you to know is that you are not just free from sin, you are free from the voice of condemnation.

Most believers in Christ, are aware or have heard that Jesus has overly paid for their sins, by His death on the cross. And also through His resurrection, they were declared righteous.

Yet, they look at their self-efforts and feel condemned. That sense of condemnation makes them feel guilty and then they even think the death of Jesus is not enough to make them righteous.

You will hear a believer, saying, “The blood of Jesus is not enough to make you righteous. Your good works determine your righteousness and salvation”.

This is an insult to the Spirit of grace and trampling the blood of Jesus as nothing.

It is the greatest sense of unbelief.

Sincerely what kind of bible do they read?

“For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we who did not know righteousness might become the righteousness of God through our union with him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 (TPT)

You don’t become righteous because of your good works. You are made righteous by the goodness of Christ. Righteousness is imparted to you because of Jesus, not because of how you keep any laws or rules.

If you are trying to determine your righteousness by your works, know that your works shall be reckoned as debt.

“Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness” Romans 4:4-5 (NKJV)

The adversary knows that legally, there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ (Romans 8:1).

However, the only way to accuse the brethren and to steal their confidence is to judge or make them feel condemned through their self-efforts.

Why do you believe in Jesus and still think you will perish?

Don’t you know what the Lord has said?

“God did not send his Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it! So now there is no longer any condemnation for those who believe in him, but the unbeliever already lives under condemnation because they do not believe in the name of God’s beloved Son.” John 3:17-18 (TPT).

The day you fully accept, Romans 8:1, is the day you will experience true freedom. There are no chains on your hands and feet, there are no prison gates.

You have been made free in Christ Jesus.

Stay free in the freedom Christ has given you (Galatians 5:1), for that is where your confidence is rooted.

Don’t give your mind to any deceptive voice of condemnation (it is not real and has no legal grounds).

Remember, the case is closed!

Defend your freedom in Christ by continuing in the truth of the gospel of Jesus. This is the greatest warfare of your faith. When the deception of the adversary succeeds in making you feel condemned, it will affect your confidence.

Guard your freedom in Christ.

You are in union with Christ Jesus, therefore, live confidently in the freedom which you have in Him.

Praise the Lord.

(Galatians 5:1; John 8:32,36; Galatians 3:25; Galatians 2:3-5; Romans 8:1-2; Revelation 12:11)

WE PRAY
We pray thanking the Lord for the eternal freedom which we have in Christ and also pray that we shall increase in the consciousness of the reality of our “No condemnation”.
