SERVE GOD’S PURPOSE
“For when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep. His body was buried with his fathers and saw decay”
Acts 13:36 (Majority Standard Bible)
Have you ever sat to think of why you came to earth at such a time as this?
Or do you think your birth was a coincidence?
No please!
God has an agenda on Earth; and in His agenda or purpose, He has determined to fulfill it through men.
All the created things in the heavens were made for earth and the earth was made for the benefit of man.
Now what was man made for?
“Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:7 (NKJV)
God’s glory is revealed in the fulfilment of His purpose.
God brought you here in time to fulfill His purpose. Your life is to be lived for God’s purpose.
This was the testimony of David.
He fulfilled God’s purpose in His generation!
What will be your testimony at the climax of your days here on earth?
What will be said of you in that city, institution, or nation?
Will it be said that you served the purpose of God in your time in that school, that company, that institution and that city?
David knew he was raised to fulfill God’s purpose and not His own interests.
And God raised David for His purpose.
“After removing Saul, He raised up David as their king and testified about him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse a man after My own heart; he will carry out My will in its entirety.” Acts 13:22 (Berean Standard Bible)
When God raised David, He had a clear testimony of him, that David will carry out ALL OF HIS WILL.
What is God’s testimony of you?
God is not raising you for yourself and your family. God is raising you for His WILL.
You can’t also serve God and at the same time serve your own purpose and the purposes of the world.
You can’t have two masters.
Let this sink deep into your heart:
GOD HAS BEEN RAISING YOU TO SERVE HIS PURPOSE AND WILL IN YOUR GENERATION.
If you have not been living solely to fulfill God’s purpose in your generation or time here, sit back and know that He has given you the gift of this New Year or the gift of time or this new day to serve His purpose.
Do you spend long hours in prayer because of your needs or because you are taking spiritual steps to win your nation for the Lord or align yourself to increase in capacity for the fulfilment of purpose?
This year make a decision to SERVE GOD’S PURPOSE ONLY.

– I set my focus on God’s will and set my mind on things above.
– I esteem the will and purpose of God
– I don’t serve my interests. I serve all of God’s purposes for me in my generation
– I don’t give my mind to the things of this world.
– I have no other master apart from God.
– God’s testimony of me is that I am a man after his heart and will serve all His will.
I make a decision to serve God purpose only.
I am raised by God to serve my generation. Gloreeyyy
I heed to the call of God upon my life
God has created me for his glory
I serve and esteem the purposes of God for my generation

Oh thank you Jesus for the gift of This new year, this month and this week to increase in capacity in order to align myself for the purpose of my destiny..
Thank you Lord for the trust of your anointing, gifts and abilities you deposited in me for grearer manifestation…
Thank you sweet holy spirit
Thank God I was born in time like this to fulfil God’s purpose. I make decision to continue to serve the God’s purpose only.
God will use me this year
Glory to God. I serve God’s purpose alone.
I am created for the glory of God
I love for His will and purpose
God’s testimony of me is that I am a man after His heart and I serve His will only.
I don’t let selfish desires blind and overtake me.
All the created things in heaven were made for the earth, the earth was made for the benefit of man and man was made for the glory of God.
My birth is not a coincidence.
I am on earth at such a time as this to fulfill God’s purpose.
The glory of God is revealed in the fulfilment of his purpose.

I am involved. I serve God’s purpose in my generation. I am raised by God for his purpose and not my.
I have the gift of time to serve God’s purpose.
