ARE YOU INVOLVED?
“But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout all that land.”
Matthew 9:31 (Legacy Standard Bible)
We have been looking at you, “Taking Your City”, through an intense gospel saturation. I have also explained what it means to be a beacon light.
In as much as I have already given thoughts on some practical things to do to take a city, it is important for you to also take an intentional decision to be part or involved in what God is doing.
It is not just about knowing how to take a city; YOU HAVE TO GET YOURSELF INTO THE MANDATE.
It is not just about you staying in your closet and shouting, “I take my city!”. You have to step out there to spread the news about Jesus throughout your sphere (Matthew 9:31).
Those who got their eyes opened in Matthew 9 didn’t keep quiet; they spread the wonderful news of the Lord.
You have to step out there to talk about Jesus from person to person and also in the virtual space.
Take note of this: gospel saturation begins with your personal transformation. You don’t need to have any strange information about Jesus. Your personal revelation of Jesus is enough. The transformation of the gospel in your heart is what you share with others.
As part of your prophetic destiny, you must fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.
Where is this knowledge of God proceeding from?
It is not from the skies.
Look at the answer Jesus gave to such question:
“Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!” John 7:38 (TPT).
As believer, you are saturated by the knowledge of the glory of God; therefore out of you the knowledge of the glory of God will proceed as rivers of living waters to cover your sphere.
Most ministries have created beautiful Church environments and use attractional methods to get people to come to their Churches. There is nothing wrong with creating an exciting Church environment and having beautiful Church auditoriums. Those are good for effective and comfortable Church meetings.
However, the people who attend Church meetings are they true disciples of Jesus?
Jesus didn’t send us to just sit on our pews and attract people to our services. The mandate to cover the earth is not “COME YE”; the mandate to cover the earth is in “GO YE”.
It doesn’t matter your busy schedules, you must see yourself as a missionary and be part of those reaching out and making disciples.
You know your friends, loved ones, neighbours, work colleagues, and coursemates need to know Jesus.
Why are you not seeing that God has placed you in that office, family or community for the purpose of saturating their hearts with the knowledge of God’s glory?
Jesus said to His disciples, “GO YE, MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS… TEACHING THEM…” (Matthew 28:19).
This was something Jesus did as well:
“Jesus walked throughout the region with the joyful message of God’s kingdom realm. He taught in their meeting houses, and wherever he went, he demonstrated God’s power by healing every kind of disease and illness.” Matthew 9:35.
The apostles also did not sit; they got involved in reaching out to others and making disciples for Jesus:
“…Paul left them, taking the disciples with him, and went on holding daily discussions in the lecture hall of Tyrannus [instead of in the synagogue]. This continued for two years, so that all the inhabitants of [the west coast province of] Asia [Minor], Jews as well as Greeks, heard the word of the Lord [concerning eternal salvation through faith in Christ].” Acts 19:9-10 (AMP).
We don’t just reach people, we have to disciple them. It is about filling every heart with the knowledge of Christ. This a daily task given to us by the Lord.
GET INVOLVED IN MAKING DISCIPLES FOR JESUS.
GET INVOLVED IN SATURATING HEARTS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD.

WE PRAY
– That by the mighty help of God, we shall possess the hearts of the multitudes with the knowledge of Christ (no matter how huge their numbers are) in the city or the spheres we find ourselves.
– That we shall not be afraid nor discouraged but we shall increase in the great strength of the Lord to patiently and consistently saturate every sphere with the gospel of Jesus

– I have the wisdom and grace to make faithful disciples of Jesus, every day.
– I take my city with the gospel
