THE SUPERIOR TEMPLATE; THE HEAVENLY PATTERN
“If we say we are his, we must follow the example of Christ”
1 John 2:6 (CEV)
When you become born again, you become a child of God. The choice to be a child (or son) of God is not dependent on your choice. The only choice you had was to receive or reject Jesus.
Take note: Whether you receive or reject Jesus, doesn’t change who He is in any way. To receive Jesus is to your advantage.
This Jesus is the express image of God’s substance. (Hebrews 1:3). To see Jesus is to see God.
You cannot live the true life of God without following and functioning according to the example of Jesus.
You didn’t become born again to live according to your imaginations and assumptions. The life of God is not intangible, yet it is spiritual. This life of God is tangible and practical.
“From the very first day, we were there, taking it all in—we heard it with our own ears, saw it with our own eyes, verified it with our own hands. The Word of Life appeared right before our eyes; we saw it happen! And now we’re telling you in most sober prose that what we witnessed was, incredibly, this: The infinite Life of God himself took shape before us.” 1 John 1:1-2 (MSG)
Did you see that?
Jesus came to express (demonstrate, reveal, show, and declare) God to us. He made the life of God visible and tangible.
Now the life of God is no longer an imagination; this life has been expressed. When you became born again (as you believed in and received Jesus), you received the life of God. (1 John 5:12).
Now that you have the life of God, you must live and function by His life.
Though the scriptures speak of us learning from the examples of the Prophets, Kings, and Patriarchs, our SUPERIOR EXAMPLE OR TEMPLATE IS JESUS!
Listen, you did not receive the life of Abraham, Isaac Jacob, Moses, David, Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, etc.
You received the life of God through Christ.
And our Lord Jesus Christ is the EXPRESSION OF THIS LIFE.
Therefore to live this life, you must FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS.
Jesus is not one of the options you choose when you want to live the true life of God.
He is THE ONLY WAY to the LIFE of God.
He is the REALITY of this LIFE of God.
And He is the SUBSTANCE AND PERSON of the Life of God.
He is the Superior template. Without Him, you cannot understand the reality of this life.
Look unto Jesus and live as He has lived and continues to live in you through the Spirit.

Galatians 5 – 6
– I behold Jesus, the express image of God.
– I walk in the consciousness of His life in me.
– I refuse to live as the world.
– Christ is my example
– He is my heavenly pattern. And my life is lived according to His pattern.
– I don’t assume, I live according to the example and excellence of Jesus.
Oh Hallelujah!!
Christ my author and finisher of my faith………I follow the example of CHRIST
I walk in the consciousness of His life in me.
Glory to God. Christ is my example. I walk in the consciousness of the life of Christ in me.
I refuse to walk as the world for i live in the consiousness of the lifeof Christ Gloty To God

I have the very life of God at work in me and I live and function by this very life.
Glorreeyyy .
I live like Christ!
Therefore to live this life, you must FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS.
Jesus is not one of the options you choose when you want to live the true life of God.
You need Jesus to live the God kind of life. No wonder the Apostle Paul said ,
“My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!”
This new life: the resurrection life can be lived only by the faith of the son of God.

I look unto Jesus and live as he lived
Hallelujah
He is my heavenly pattern. And my life is lived according to His pattern.
It’s Christ and no one else
